We could end up in the relegation zone after tomorrow. Come on lads, give us a proper reason to sack Hughes.

He must've missed his own side's generous use of 'tactical fouls' second half. Probably too busy winding up home fans from the directors' box, again.

Lads. Relax. You won. Well done. No need for the mass hysteria. Never seen as much shite get posted on twitter from an opposing teams fans. Makes me cringe reading it

Was just coming on to post

Fair play to Rocka, two in a row, although he wasn't quite as lucky for us this week.

We could do with a result at Sutton really after a disappointing last couple. Lose and I think the pressure will really increase on Ardley, who has now pretty much brought in an entire squad of his own.
Sutton were absolutely pants last week.

5 unbeaten for us but only two wins and Maidenhead have had a superb start. Think Maidenhead just as we played Wednesday night and 3 first teamers out for this.
Home form is poor. Most of our points got away.

Get your money lumped on a spireites win today. They haven't won away all season and Bromley haven't lost at home all season. Chesterfield draw more games than most. Everything about the stats should say draw or home win but the National league throws out one game every weekend to fuck up everybody's betslip and this match has all the hallmarks.

On Tuesday night's showing, Chesterfield have a LOT of work to do before they're ready to make a serious attempt at getting out of this league.

No game for us. Should have been away at barnet but they have 3 players called up for international duty or some et. I mean who makes the decision to postpone the game. Shambles

In other news our chairman has issued a statement backing the manager after the stockport game. It's all very well saying we murdered stockport and chorley but we took 1 point from those games. I swear to god he has a job for life Challinor. We've been an absolute embarrassment this season and the team and manager are getting praised. Fucking hell man

Oh and thank god the forum works again off my phone
Lucky for you it was postponed, it saved you making a long wasted trip to London. The match was due to be played at your place.

We scored, and then for some reason it was ruled out for offside a minute after the ball hit the back of the net even though there was no flag.

Based on that first half, Yeovil best team I’ve seen so far. Shame they let themselves down with loads of needless fouls. Typical southern team that scream anytime they feel contact to win a free kick too.

I’ll give them credit though, they deserve to be winning. We are not at the races so far.

General consensus is we probably should be 3 or 4 up at half time. The Halifax keeper has kept them in it.

If it wasn't for shit officials, we'd be pissing this tinpot league.

Get in! Gold gets his second and makes it 0-2. Halifax manager gets a yellow card for having a hissy fit at the officials.

Barrow tried their best to throw it away. 2 up and conceded a goal, followed by an injury time penalty. Aldershot missed it and three points in the bag, but it's incredible how terrible we turn when leading.

beat Shots 2-1 should have been about 4-0 up then gave away a sloppy 80th min goal.
Then the ref gifts Shots an injury time penalty - which Dixon saved.
Onwards and upwards :)

We beat Aldershot at the Rec last season after a run of six defeats and it turned our season from being relegation candidates to a top half team.

Hopefully the same can occur this time around.

Can't disagree. We weren't at the races at all and was in part to McAlinden not starting and the pressing of Yeovil. Sharper to every ball and actually passed to feet. That said a referee with bigger balls and not the spineless fuckwit we got and they could and should have been down to 9 men. There'll be less grappling in the UFC tonight. Just a horrible horrible side that make Borehamwood look timid. Constant shirt pulling, bad gamesmanship, arms round necks and leaving the foot in. Just total anti football that Mourinho would have been proud of. It's the first time in a long time I've seen the home players not shake the refs hand after the game as they normally do this even when the officials have been poor. 2-0 home defeat and the players got applauded off. Not bitter at Yeovil, if you can do it and get away with it time and time and time again then what is the incentive to stop. As for the ref i can't list all the ways i would like to inflict pain on him. He'd have been hung out to dry if that'd been a tv game.

You’ve summed it up pretty much to a tee. The amount of times blatant fouls on Sho-Silva went unpunished was a joke. Don’t want to discredit Yeovil as they were a good footballing side and they deserved the win, but their gamesmanship was poor and the ref was abysmal.

Need to learn how to play without Brown otherwise we will come midtable fodder again. Bullied all over the pitch today whether it was fairly or unfairly

It was tried in pre-season and didn't work so not sure why Devonshire felt the need to go back to it, but unsurprisingly a 433 with two target men and no genuine winger is a daft tactical plan and defeat today was inevitable. Not enough depth at CM either with Comley on international duty.

Anyway the good news is, booting the ball out of the goalkeeper's hands is no longer a foul, so fill yer boots everybody. :woot:
