That was the coldest most boring 2-0 win I’ve ever witnessed, Aldershot were very poor, we missed at hat full of chances in the second half, most in the six yard box.

A goal and assist from Luke Molyneux on his first start of the season. If he’d been available all season.....

I’ve said it before but if we come up against Paddy Mclaughlin next season, hopefully the players haven’t forgotten.

Draw probably fair at Daggers. Both teams had good chances first half. 2nd half, I thought we were starting to edge it and Stockport looked like they were settling for a point and hoping to hit on the counter once they took off Bell. But then Weston got injured about 10 minutes after coming on and we had to change gameplan and shape which completely hit us. Stockport sensed this and started to commit more bodies forward. Thought they'd killed us with the sucker punch at the end but then we managed to strike home after some poor defending.

I think we'll be ok but I'm not liking how tight it is down at the bottom. Realistically anybody from Sutton down could drop. I expect Chesterfield and Fylde to push the safety tally to the low to mid 50s this year. My gut feeling is still that Aldershot might be the guys to drop with Fylde. Wouldn't rule out Wrexham though.

As it’s 3 down, there’s no way 3rd bottom will need 50+ points. High 40s will probs be enough.

Fylde are in a lot of trouble.

Was great to see Molyneux starting, scoring and setting one up, like you say, if it wasn't for that no talent wastrel McLaughlin who knows how different this season would've been.

Mark Shelton has been the difference for us, hopefully Salford keep spending and push him out of their squad, would love to have him here next season.

When is this 3 down malarky actually going to be officially confirmed? Have Bury got a date set for a hearing or anything like that?

Decent game yesterday I thought. 3-2 probably not representative of the actual game though.

On another day Wrexham could have had 2 sent off and we had 2 stone wall penalties turned down so could and should have got a bit messy for them. Was typical of us we only just won it and we’re heading to a draw despite creating 2 Or 3 decent chances in the latter parts of the first and second halves.

I’ve not seen a lot of NL football this year but thought it was 1 poor side against one pretty dire side so can see why we are both where we are.

We’ve got Ebbsfleet and Chorley to come in the next month after Yeovil next Saturday. We need 6 points from those games and we have a chance. Looks like anyone from about 14th downwards could be dragged into it.

Judging by Keates post match press conference he sounds like a man under pressure, or one that is clueless and didn’t really watch the game yesterday so would expect Wrexham to struggle if they carry on like that.

Missed this but his post match press conference stinks of a desperate man under pressure. Completely miss judged how the game went and forgot the awful referring that stopped his side getting a bit of a tonking potentially.
I know NL officials are bad but this was as bad as anything I’d seen yesterday. Literally didn’t get a thing out of the ref.

He's a complete twat, mate. The sooner we're rid of him the better.

3 games on Tuesday;-

Eastleigh v Fylde
Harrogate v Yeovil
Solihull v Barnet

Eastleigh v Fylde is a must win game for Fylde, but only a don't lose game for Eastleigh. This is one of Fylde's 3 games in hand on Chesterfield - but should they fail to win things start to look really bad for them. I might even back a Fylde win - just to make sure they don't get all 3 points.....

Harrogate v Yeovil
2nd v 4th and a match neither team can afford not to win;-
A Yeovil loss would leave them 9 points behind Barrow having played a game more and they could struggle to get a top 3 finish.
A draw does neither team any favours and strengthens the positions of Barrow, Halifax, Notts and Boreham Wood.
Only a Harrogate win will put any type of pressure on Barrow at the top.

Solihull v Barnet
Another loss and Solihull can start to forget about the play offs. Barnet are on their best run of the season and a win would see them go one point outside the play offs with games in hand on everyone above them. The only issue i see for Barnet is that McCallum isn't allowed to play...

A draw would be good between Harrogate and Yeovil, but I don't see either of them as our biggest challengers - Boreham Wood and Notts County are the sides that seem most capable of going on an unstoppable run now that they've found their feet. That said, a big win for either side tomorrow will send out a big message to the rest of the Top 7.

Very similar to how Sheridan was for us. Blaming anything, and everyone but himself. When in reality he was clueless and out of his depth

Just watched highlights, eventful to say the least. Pearson definitely could have gone and it's unreal how the ref hasn't given a free kick, a definitely bottle job. I guess you could say he's making an effort for the ball (although he knows he's going to come clattering into the player and bring him down). I wouldn't have complained at a red there, for sheer clumsiness. The Fondop one where he jumped all over our guy is a penalty too. The bellend was obviously at it all game, trying to get people sent off getting in the ref's face.

The Lawlor challenge is a yellow for sure, the player has flung himself through the air for effect. Hooper could have easily gone for the shove in the face, it's not much but you see a red for less than that sometimes. The goal at the end looks clearly in to me.

Some clips there also showed how good Jay Harris still is, I think its a bit of a coup to get him back at this level. Although not really known for his passing etc he is underrated in that aspect. Probably still easily the best player at the club even though he's past prime.

That looks like a really big game for Yeovil, could decide whether they're going to stay in the mix for second and third, or having to fight to stay in the top seven at all. A Harrogate win might put some degree of pressure on Barrow again as well - four point suddenly wouldn't look like a lot, even with a game in hand.

Harrogate (and Notts) may end up with fixture congestion should they win their Trophy match on the 29th. The semi-Finals are 2 legged affairs so 2 games would need re-arranging.

yes - i watched the match and despite the 3-0 scoreline they created a fair amount of chances - even Denton managed to hit the bar at 1-0. And missing a penalty at 0-0 does count as should have been 1-0 up...

Wrong , just wrong

Imagine knowing the date of when Harrogate Town are next playing in the Trophy.

I knew because we were due to play Barnet on that date - and the game was off even before last Saturday's match as one of us would still be in the Trophy. I also know that our match at Harrogate will be postponed if they beat Fylde on the 29th.

I'd pretty much agree with all of that. Only thing i didnt see in the highlights was the handball penalty which apparently was nailed on too.

Fondop I thought was a walking red card, he was on the verge of losing the plot and his reaction at the end probably epitomised that. He needs to be careful as a red card would have ruined the game for us

Huge game for us tonight. A draw would be just fine but a win would move us above Solihull and to within 1 point of 7th, with between 1 and 3 games in hand against all those above us.

We're 12 unbeaten and come into the game on the back of 4 consecutive wins. Confidence should be high.

Solihull's recent form has been horrendous but with McCallum ineligible, we are unlikely to score too many so I would expect our standard close game.

I'll guess at a hard fought 1-1 draw which would certainly not be a disaster.
