Won't be us mate - we're properly wobbling at the moment with 9 first teamers out injured. Home banker on Tuesday.

We're starting to get some players back from injury, with Rance and Drury both featuring yesterday, but we're still missing 3 or the back four that would usually start, one of which is captain Dave Winfield who is not likely to return until sometime between December and February.

It seems to me that we're too frightened to lose this unbeaten record (32 now) so we would rather draw than lose. I'd rather us lose one now and it be the kick up the arse we need to get a winning run together. Either that, or forget the loss and just win a few!

With the way the season has started, we should be looking to pick up points against both you and Tranmere, but can definitely see a loss.

We are top of the league , say, we are top of the league, OK may be for 72 hours as we have Boring Wood on Tuesday , who tonked us 4-1 last season at home , and always seem to beat us, but as far as I know , 93rd placed club in the country, its the highest position Dover have ever achieved..... part time as well ................. A solid win at Aldershot, who started the better but were not able to penetrate our defence, and as the game drew on. we grew stronger and after the second went in, there was only going to be one winner 144 Dover fans, the rest very quiet Aldershot fans. try to get a look at Dover's second goal, good goal or poor defending, nice to get one over the smug mug Aldershot manager, who in his interview has a dig at their fans as well , expect normality to return on Tuesday but for now , we will live the dream........ As footnote what a disgrace Aldershot F C are. in the way they treat away fans...

Aldershot must be shite ... even we won there.

I'd be surprised if Rovers ended the Ebbsfleet unbeaten run, we're just not taking our chances. It's more likely that you'd lose to someone totally unexpected. That kind of league this year.

This league is mad this time around , no one seems to be convinced by their teams.... us included
Itsike this every single season.

I like how you can go on any fans forum in this league and you'll see the opposition team who just beat them described as limited, or bemoned as a poor team.

I think people forget we are watching the fifth tier. The very bottom rung of professional football.

You don't bring anything to the Conference but an inflated opinion of yourselves. Tony Beadau, Andy Parkinson, Juan Ugarte and Richard Tracey are in the past. Let the young pretenders come through. You call me a Wum but I speak the truth. Let the true Football League teams flourish. That includes Crewe and Plymouth.
What on earth are you going on about you utter gibbering fucktard.

Also Wrexhams 0-0 cost me £370 - I thought they were nailed on winners FFS!

DO NOT EVER put Wrexham on your Acca. I've learnt this the hard way, along with Millwall and Rotherham are the side that have cost me the most money over the years and are officially on my banned list. They could be away to Real Madrid playing six youth players and still somehow scrape a draw.

As well as having the lowest ranked professional sides in Europe you also have the part-time sides, like Sutton and Maidenhead

Wasn't at yesterday's game, but I've watched the highlights now and can't for the life of me see what was wrong with Harrison's goal that was disallowed (it's in the first minute of this video)

Despite our league position, it doesn't feel like we're doing too badly, just the odd bit of bad luck here and there. Like a lot of teams will probably say, we could be five or six points better off if things had gone our way.

Annoyingly, I think Guiseley might be up for Tuesday's game a bit more than they would have been pre-Cox.

I'm guessing it's given for offside against the guy standing in front of the keeper, with the ref deeming his position and/or "jostling" (though it's hard to tell who's jostling who from that) to be interfering.

It wasn't given for offside, I know that much. Not sure what the ref's gesture is, touching his elbow, but the keeper certainly wasn't impeded, just flapped and fell over.
A shame that it wasn't given, as we could have done with such a boost.

From the refs gestures, it looks like he gave a foul for holding. Can't see it myself, but it's not a good camera angle.

Couldnt agree more at first i thought it was for offside but looking at that it was a perfectly good goal.

The highlights did not show your number 3 spotting davies off his line and almost chipping him from 40 yards.... great piece of skill .

Oh and whilst i think on moderators does what lance stow produce on here not class as baiting?

Well done to Dover and Kinnear so far this season. I thought they'd struggle but no signs of that at the minute.

Amazing achievment considering they lost their better players{once again} in the summer.

Fairplay to Dover. Thought their squad looked very suspect going into the season but Kinnear has done very well. Very organised and solid team, hard to break down. Excuse fall to injuries but just hides how badly we need a striker that can change the match. That said it definitely would have been a better game with at least half of our first choice players back but that's just football. We move on, can't be too annoyed at this stage.

Have to say the league looks utterly woeful anyway.. Top 9 split by 3 points.. 1st-20th only split by 7 points. Jesus.

Only problem about Aldershot getting a good striker that can change the match, there are 20 other teams in this league looking for one as well, Players like Miller and the bloke that was at Maidenhead, don't come around very often, and when they do, its more by luck than judgement that they sign for you

Kinnear to Gillingham?

Wishful thinking , there mate....................... Gillingham couldn't afford his wages as he has a full time job as well, although it wouldn't cost them any compo, as he is not on a contract , but who would walk out of a job where you are having success to take on that bunch from Medway

How many have you got out?

Our first choice goalkeeper, 3 defenders and 2 strikers. Plus Nicky Bailey may have picked up an injury yesterday which may leave him out for a few games. So 6 or 7. And those are just the guaranteed first team regulars

Ouch. We've had to bring on two 17 year olds (who probably arent ready for this level) in the last two games as we have about 10 out

Agreed. Will be playing in the same league next season at this rate.
