How we’ve won that game I’ll never know. One of our worst performances of the season but I’ll take an ugly 3 points. Hudlin is a right donkey isn’t he. Missed an open net from 2 yards.

Special mention for the ref applying social distancing rules. Any contact and it was an automatic foul. Abysmal for both teams
We were so poor weren't we especially in an attacking sense. Couldn't string anything together for most of the game.

Unreal goal line clearance from Byrne from Ward's chip. Then how Hudlin hasn't buried that rebound with literally noone in front of him from 4 yards is unreal.

Defense stood up well today though they hit the crossbar a couple of times from distance but I dont think you could say they had huge amounts of glaring opportunities.

Hopefully Hyde's most recent set back doesn't keep him out for too long having him fit for more than 4 games at a time would be nice.

Solihull were the team he got injured against last time post christmas as well. Glad we are done with them for the season.

Ugly win but a good win, hopefully we wont be that bad on Tuesday

I would imagine plans are in place to comply with Football League rules. Should we maintain our current form.
I.E. we sell our best players and settle for relegation.

Key for Sutton will be how well they react to an inevitable defeat or two.

This is why I’m trying not to get to ahead of myself. We still have (a minimum) of 17 games left to go. We’ve been more effective than brilliant, we’re not playing overly well but we are working hard. Yes, we’re in a great position but it wasn’t that long ago that everyone was sure Torquay were going to easily win the league.

Moors are the whiniest team we've had at The Shay all season.

3 wins on the bounce, 4 wins in 5, we are back in the Play Offs. :woot::woo:

They only had one shot on target all game, and that was dealt with so easily our defender was able to show off with an overhead kick while doing a back flip. :ds:

Your fixtures for the next two months look pretty tricky, a lot of away games at teams in the top half of the table.

Of course if you win those you'll probably go up a Champions!

Away games at Chesterfield, Bromley and Halifax before the end of the month. Very tough, and just confirms we’ve got a long way to go.

That wasn’t just not pressing, though, it was just sitting on the edge of your own box for 90 minutes and letting us do as we pleased. It’d be weird against any team, let alone one that’s known to be low on confidence exactly because teams have stopped doing that against us.

I know we picked you off in the end in the game at ML, but you looked a vibrant and interesting team in that game. That today was just miserable.

These lads are part time to be fair. Pressing might be a bit harder if you’ve been on a building site half the week.

Great work by Ardley in deciding to start launching it against a load of plumbers.

We don’t play the pressing game. We aren’t set up to do that nor have the players.
As for fans in, no difference to other clubs just smaller stadium so more obvious. Staff and like as has been said.
With no turnstiles, bar, club shop, tea hut's or ticket office open, what the hell are all those"staff" actually doing?

We were absolutely awful today.

Asante isolated on his own until we brought Tyson and Yussuf (who looks poor) on to help him out.

Tough tough game against Sutton on Tuesday now.

Blimey, spot- on prediction from yours truly. An enjoyable game, some proper football played. A bit harsh on Altringham, who deserved a share of the points. A couple of quality goals, Joel Nouble once again a real handful. A bit more consistency and we’d be contenders. We’ll see on Tuesday at the Shay.
Have to say that the spectators at Wealdstone look well dodgy. ( see above from Wooderson). If nothing else, those persons should be shoved out of camera shot. Not good “optics”.

Jacob Mendy, probably one of the best young players in the NL this season, literally spends his week as a labourer on a building site, so his progress this season all things considered is remarkable.

That would be well dumb. The plastic pitch would have to come up, and be replaced with turf; I believe part of the strategy at Sutton involves community use of the pitch, a total no-go on grass.
The likeliest scenario is sudden inexplicable loss of form, and a failed gallant play- off attempt. It’s not without precedent..

Is he the one who scored the worldy against us at your place? He looked very good.

Making sure that wanker at your club doesn’t nick another ground ;)
Pot and Kettle mate. Didn't you nick your ground from Ruislip Manor. We didn't nick your ground, just took over a wasteland left behind by your crooked club's board who trousered 4 million.

That's shit today, absolutely fucking abysmal. Maidenhead outplayed us, out battled us and just wanted it. We looked abject, like they couldn't be bothered. Can't understand that performance at all

Just about got over the line today, big 3 points and good to see us actually grind out results, the Aldershot of recent times would have folded and lost after conceding for 1-1. Apparently it’s the first time we’ve won 3 league games in a row since 2017. We’re like a different side since Christmas, coinciding with the arrival of Miller who’s brought a completely different energy to the club. Also in Nouble we’ve got one of the form players in the league, he’ll undoubtedly be playing at a higher level next season.
Big few weeks for us now, a couple of good results will put us right into the mix.
Looks like it’s Sutton’s to lose now, fair play to Matt Gray, was very underappreciated when he was with us a few years back.

Quite a statement and libellous. What evidence do you have of any of that bollocks re trousering money?

You sold Lower Mead for 6.6 million. Paid Watford 2 million for a ground share. Spent 600,000 on the Hive, then suddenly had no more money left, that's why it remained derelict for years. So you explain the whereabouts of the other 4 million.

As you know so much about our club, I surprised you don’t know.

We only rec’d 2m from Tescos which was spent on Watford. Rec’d another £1m from the law suit against the lawyers who were involved in the fraud on the deal on selling the ground.

So, your statement that our board didn’t complete PEPF a decade later because they trousered £4m is libellous.

Slightly bizarre that we were criticised on the BT highlights show for sacking Flowers and that it was implied he needed more time and never had money to spend (he did). Their own cameras saw us well beaten twice under him.

FAO Sutton Utd:

Enjoy your place in the Football League that you will be taking from us and I just ask that you take much better care of it than my pathetic team have done for the past 5 seasons.

Thanks.
