It’s fair to say that he chance of being able to watch chesterfield live on tv on non-league day hasn’t gone un-noticed by Mansfield fans.

Don’t disappoint us!

Goalless at HT, sounds like we're all over them though. Couple of half chances for Rowe and that's it

Even-ish game in E10. Very few clear cut chances. Hartlepool have worked hard, but clearly here for a point. Hopefully we’ll have run the legs out of them later on.

If there's anything worse than the evil, it's when the evil mess your betting slip up for the day.

Thank god for that. Just got to win those horrible away games by any means and move on.

Sounds like Fylde will be right up there this year. From the commentary we sounded better in the first half, but as soon as they got the lead it was all Fylde. Didn't even sound like we played poorly in the second half, they were just better.

Unlucky not to have had more, but we'll take any win away. Get in.

Sounds like we were getting a proper slapping, they did everything but score, would’ve been happy with a point before kick off so pleased with that.

I wouldn't quite go that far, it wasn't a classic brotherhood derby, they had most of the play but we nearly stole it at the end.

We were solid and I'll take the point all day long but christ we were horrendous in the final 3rd. Noble had a shocker. If he's off his game, we have very little going forward.

Can the president of the Brotherhood (is it Master D or BT2F?) make sure Pools are severely punished for what they did today? Taking two points off Orient - the side that could've overtaken evil Salford at the top of the table with a win - is breaking one of the clearly defined brotherhood rules.

Thank you sir.

Feels brilliant to finally get a win against Eastleigh. Not sure their 12 year olds behind the goal (who spent the first half singing about us and were silent second half) enjoyed it too much though.

Watching Denton-ball live really is one of those things you need to have crossed off your bucket list. Like watching Messi play at the Nou Camp.

The European dream is over, lost 4-3 on penalties. Really good and exciting cup tie, both teams had chances to win the game although we were the better team a lack of ruthlessness cost us. Good luck to Bohemians in the rest of the Cup, a friendly welcoming club who play in a classic stadium

Today showed how far we've come as a team, when we played nearly the whole second half with ten men, yet are frustrated that we didn't win, we had the better chances and scoring positions yet it was one of those days in front of goal.

Thought we out played Hartlepool for long, long periods - Particularly when we had ten men and we got a bit more space. But Brophy, Alabi and Ekpetita were all denied by Loach with the chances they had.

Hartlepool were hard to break down, but offered very, very little in the final third. I couldn't see much in them to suggest that they could sneak up this season. Brill didn't have anything to do until stoppage time.

Second home game in a row we've had to combat teams sitting back against us and we've failed to score, so we've got to try and find a way of dealing with that.

Special mention to the ref who had a bit of an iffy game I thought. From my angle Widdowsons red card looked a 50/50 ball but alot of our fans are saying it was a nailed on red. However his decision not to award us a backpass in the first half was the one that got me, it was an appalling decision I thought, Noble clearly played it back to Loach from the halfway line and he picked it up.

You can see for yourselves now how bad this is. Denton our plan A. Flicking to no one. Simple passes missing their target. No midfield at all. Players hanging onto the ball too long in the final 3rd because they've got no options and are scared to pull the trigger. Not one good player you can hang your hat on and say 'well, he's alright', they're all bad. It's just terrible

Maybe Vanni will become the much vaunted dear leader if Wrexham go up?

We are not good going forward whatsoever. Muir & James are good players in their own right but it's not working. We also don't get enough from Kitching (left wing back, more of a left back) and there's not a great deal of creativity in the middle, except for the odd hollywood pass from Noble.

We've also come a long way from last season. That game we'd definitely have lost last season and I've come away disappointed we didn't make more of a game of it. But we are well drilled and organised, defensively we are a strong outfit. Happy with the point but we really have to find a consistent goal threat or we can forget about the top 7

Comfortably the better side even with 10 men (red card was spot-on; he went over the top of the ball). Thought our first half performance ran the legs out of Pools who had absolutely nothing left to be able to take advantage of the extra man. Enjoyed watching Liam “best player in the division” Noble being the worst player on the pitch. Still, he managed to get the actual best player in the division booked, so I’m sure he’ll be pleased with his day’s work.

Bit worried that we’re really starting to pay for our lack of ruthlessness. Deserved to lose against Sutton, but should have been out of sight in 5 of our 6 draws. Think we’re the best side in the division until we get to the oppo’s 18 yard box.

Still, one point off top. Mustn’t grumble.

Looking forward to the season resuming in two weeks again. This mid September to November break that the National League have put into place is very frustrating. Ashame every other team was given around 10 points for this break though. Still, luck of the draw I suppose. Here's to game 17 where we finally move into double figures....

I'll swap you Shamir Mullings for Denton. At least Denton wins balls in the air. Mullings if 6ft5 and can't jump.

Watching the game again on TiVo, what a mealy mouthed commentary, such grudging praise for Kosylos cracker, and now they're saying Chesterfield don't look like a struggling side? They were fucking AWFUL. We've not had so much possession all season. :dk:

Matty Coleslaw was the only player on the pitch who would interest any of the proper sides of the league.

Nothing much in the game. We shaded it but we were poor again. We seriously lack creativity in the middle of the park and Danny Rowe said the same thing post match. Our defence has never been as good and our attacking play has never been as bad. I genuinely don’t think we’ve played really well once this season. We’ve turned a bit boring. Last season we were a threat in every game. This season we’re lucky to see 5 shots a game. Still, amazingly we’re 6th and we haven’t played well. Get Montrose back, a couple of away wins and push on
