Any team that is forced to play Calamity Carroll is always gonna struggle to be fair.

I used to call him Christmas Carrol as he gave away a gift every week :animatedf:

Whilst the thought of Salford in the league followed by their inevitable back to back promotion into League 1 makes me want to vomit, I take solace in the thought that most of the money grabbing mercenary bastards who play for them have probably had their wives butt fucked by Ryan Giggs whilst they’ve been at training.
Fucking c***.

We’ve had an early red card in this fixture the last two seasons and gone on to draw both.
Our form is beginning to pick up, and hopefully Hessenthaler jumping ship will work to our advantage.
2-1 Shots.
Good call.

He loves playing for us. He is a massive influence around the club and runs the dressing room. I don't think any Pools fan has said he's the best player in the league but he is a quality player for this level, although he wouldn't be with us if he could do it every week. He's a niggly bastard and winds the opposition up something chronic. So if he has a bad game (like yesterday), he just sticks to the dark arts. He might get headbutted at times (Eastleigh's keeper did that), get death threats from the stands and stick from the opposition dugout but he's one of the reasons we have such a good away record, he throws teams off their game plan, unsettles the opposition, and scores and creates goals. I'd think he was a little c*** if he played against us but he doesn't and overall he's earned us lots of points

We've been a push over for years & he's excatly what we needed.A narky twat, who the oppsotion hate, but would love in thier team.
It used to piss me off watching other teams players surround the ref, while ours just stood there.
It might not be right the right thing to do,but if it helps to get us out of this hell hole,i couldn't give a toss.

You'll just piss the refs off and get yourselves a reputation for being twats, then they'll collectively decide to ostentatiously show you how they deal with twats and you'll never get another call in your favour again. We know. :box:

There is so much stuff going on that I don't know where to start! In short, we go from making a profit off the back of that Man U cup tie - money that was going to be ''ring fenced'' according to the club at the time - to making a loss of more than £600000. Dave Doggett, the chairman at the time, discovered that not only the money wasn't ring fenced but the club was losing money by the day. He tried to raise this up but was stopped from doing so by other directors, so he resigned. In came Paul Barry in his place and made good for that £600000, but he then slashed the playing budget, so much so that the only strikers we have right now are two 30 something injury prone ones (Jabo Ibehre and Barry Corr) plus an utterly hopeless one in Ade Azeez :ffs:

Another thing that is certainly not helping is employing Ben Strang as a scout. He brought in a handful of poor players on 3/4 year contracts, and apparently we can't shift them on as nobody's interested in them. I'm referring to the likes of ex Macc Paul Lewis, Osadebe and Liam O'Neil.

I really don't blame Dunn at all - Pep could come in and results still won't improve. Not when we're missing a decent striker or two, and the subs bench is made up of 17/18 year olds.
Ouch. Sounds pretty dire. Hope things pick up soon

Doesn't seem to have done Sutton any harm

Sutton were reffed into the playoffs last season even though it was the last thing they wanted.

They've got their cup final at the Vic next week so I'm sure they're under strict instructions to lose that.

They always play out of their minds against the Proper Clubs. It’s the other 38 games that they don’t care about.

Someone had to take Wrexham’s place after their massive choke. It’s like you don’t want promotion or something

I told you all that based on my watching highlights of Partick Thistle matches that Azeez would be a dreadful signing for you!

Their cup final will be against Arbroath in front of 42 people. When they win the Irn Bru Cup I think they qualify for next seasons Champions League. Or the Uefa Nations league... Or a year's supply of Irn Bru. It's unclear.
