Stockport County.
Most of the Chesterfield fans on here just seem like gimps to me. Harmless though. I barely read any of their posts all the way through.

Grimsby lads alright but very highly strung. Get worked up at anything.

Yet still nobody is as bad as Guiseley. We will never forget What They Did.

Guiseley, Lewes, Farsley, Histon and Eastbourne. Its embarrasing down here. Playing North Ferriby is just embarrasing

Surely Chesterfield are the Soviets? Keep sending bodies in until you get something right.

Funny you say that, I had a colleague who once claimed "the most spectacular case of inbreeding I have ever seen, was in Chesterfield Rugby Club".

True story. :ds:

I think most things said on here by us are said in jest, with the exception being pontoonlew who seems to have an issue with Stockport and Wrexham for some reason.
Speaking for myself here I never get worked up over football anymore, I used to years ago all the time, but life’s too short to be like that.

We used to run an annual poll on this place where we all voted on all sorts of stuff about forum members. I regularly won both "Favourite poster" and "Least favourite poster" and "Funniest poster" and "Unfunniest poster" all in the same poll. Plus ça change. :ds:

No it isnt. Besides they went bust and the phoenix club is at Step 5
Yeah I know. Scunthorpe 4 Alfreton 0. Now that was a cracking day. Me and the bairn went to Cleethorpes. I ended up getting punched by a Grimsby hooligan. Darren Mansaram he was called

Of those 11 games though, 6 of them clocked in at around the 30mins or under mark. The only 1 of his 3 full matches I saw was when Exeter spanked us at BP and he was pretty useless. Fair enough if you've seen something I haven't, but I've haven't. I hope you're right, of course. If he starts playing well, I'll definitely hold my hands up and say I've called it wrong.

Grimbotasary?
I have to completely disagree with Exeter, he was miles and away our best player. It’s often touted that game as being his best game and (I can’t find it to show you) he provided an incredible assist that game for our goal as well.

Willing to put £20 to a charity of your choice that Scannell gets 5 assists this season.

Is that Sean Scannell lol? I bet he is in counselling now. From Palace to Nunsthorpe Tavern in a few years. Poor lad

So that's what we are going on? A 4-1 defeat at home and the only notable thing in the game we did was a run by the left winger and a cross for the goal.

I know the majority of our squad last season was awful, but not sure how Scannell managed to be one of the ones to stay on. In Hurst we trust, he must see something in him, maybe if he gets fit there might be. :dk:

Though watching that fitness video earlier, either there is a lot of footage missing, or he is still a long way of being able to run around for 10 mins never mind 90.

A bit more than that bit of that’s how you saw it that’s up to you. He was also outstanding at Crawley away. As I’ve said, we’ve not had much to go on but when fully fit Scannell can play above this level and I’m looking forward to him proving that (if he can stay fit)

Woah who said it was mainly Hursts fault we went down? It might’ve sounded like that in your head but that wasn’t what I said was it?

I’m talking about the results in January, Stevenage, Southend, Port Vale, Scunny. Those set of results completely buried us, the recruitment of Holloway etc was obviously the cause of the relegation, nobody disputes that.
Fair enough, the wording was enough to make me think you meant it was Hursts fault, but you were talking about the results which is fair enough. I apologise for assuming one thing rather than the other :ffs:
