A quarter of the way through the season and McMahon still doesn't know his best side. Two points better off than last season, but already lost 5. Awful. Even when we've won (other than Aldershot) we've not looked great.

Already a number of fans want him gone. While I'm not at that stage, I'm not surprised.

I would predict in a side not doing as well that Whitely has turned into a showboating lazy fuck? When we were flying, he was unstoppable but as soon as the team’s form dipped, it appeared he could do no right.

Very glad we let Cheek go to you as well. Immobile and not amazing back to goal. Only really thrives on crosses. Much happier we’ve got the terrier Romain up front.

We played well yesterday. We ain’t going to challenge for the title but we’ll make the playoffs and we should finish higher than last season. We need to get Montrose back, hasn’t kicked a ball this season and with Finley now being at accy, we really miss him

Whitely is actually one of the only ones who's looked interested! Scored a fantastic goal in the loss to Fylde which gave us a chance to get a draw, but as we were going for it, they got us on the break.

Not sure how much we paid for Cheek but he's been given one start and a handful of 10-15 minute cameos off the bench. We have three strikers, Kedwell who 35 and still runs more than the rest of the team, McQueen who's far too lightweight to be a striker at this level and Cheek who doesn't get a look in. McMahon's summer recruitment wasn't great. We don't have a natural full back so play 3 at the back which leaves us far too exposed too often.

Not impressed.

Like most Barnet fans have said. Once we played a decent side then our weaknesses would show. Men v boys and the boys run out of energy.
Well deserved win for Orient. As our players come back then I'm sure we will improve and give them a better game at the Hive in 6 months time.

No surprise to see Doswell on the highlights show saying the last thing Sutton want is promotion and basically reaffirming once again how it'd probably RUIN them.

Tim Flowers is a joker too isn't he, claiming Dover are the biggest side he's ever seen when he's assembled Solihull Motors Rugby Club and made their pitch about half the size of what it should be.

In other important manager related news, interesting to note that Chris Kinnear has the exact same voice as Peter 'Snakebite' Wright.

Gave an absolutely deluded post-match interview after they kicked us sh*tless (blaming their glut of cards on our crowd, rather than the fact that they spent 90 minutes assaulting our wingers). Shame, as they were actually a good side in the spells they tried to play a bit of football.

Weird snippet of that interview.
Would have been good to have heard the question.

.

With the exception of Liam Daly (6'5) and Danny Wright (6'3) possibly Tyrone Williams too. All of our players would fall into what I would call average man size. So this is either a good sign, that teams are starting to take notice of us in this division and take pops at us or a small man syndrome.
Granted when we played you I did notice we were physically much bigger than you, but the choice to play 9 stone 5'7 slips in this league is your own. I also wouldn't say that we rely on a hoof and hit style. We have become and incredibly hard working and well organised team, and of that, I am proud.

Trans: We kick the living shit out of anything that moves when we haven’t got the ball.

Guess which team tops the FA fair play league for the Vanarama...

Whilst squeaky clean Wrexham sit at the bottom on zero, the church going, never touched a woman softies...

Flowers has concentrated more on pack weight than height.

Do we really have to go through fucking Boreham Wood challenging at the top again?

Bollocks to them, they come in at rock bottom on my newly-designed VNL tinpotometer

Wood aren’t as tinpot as Master D’s ‘jokes’ unfortunately. Wood have an historical tendency to do things like this to Sutton unfortunately.
