In the end a deserved a win, against a Bromley side who carried out an organised game plan in the first half, but they ran out of steam in the second half - Only so long you can chase the ball out of possession and sit deep before the legs go.

Jobi McAnuffs free kick gave us a much needed injection to make it 1-1, not sure what Bromleys backline was doing for our second, but some great play and finish from Josh Koroma.

Impressed with Bromleys Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe - Just seen he is on loan from Colchester, he caused us alot of problems in the first half.

Always good to give George Porter lots of stick, the lazy little shite!

Big game next week away at Wrexham, the top of the table keeps on changing.

Interesting video on social media of Ebbsfleet's keeper full on losing it and jumping into the crowd trying to attack the Boreham fans.

Think it's indicative of Hartlepool that Jack Munns failed there last season as I'd have happily had him in the team in the last two seasons when we were pushing on at the top. Such a clever player.

We've turned a corner now and I think we'll pull away from the bottom 4. There will still be the odd hiccup but we seem to be getting our shit together at last thank goodness.

Salford were pretty good but we were shambolic defensively. Adam Rooney wont score an easier hat trick in his career

Very interesting. Don't think I've seen him react to anything during his time here, and he's received a hell of a lot of stick! Probably shouldn't have reacted, but must have been serious... Comes a day after an Eastleigh fan was banned for racially abusing him last season.

Reacting is one thing, but jumping into the crowd is unacceptable.

Fylde like to play pretty football but don’t like being pressured, same type of performance as Harrogate at home and same outcome. Gutted the win didn’t get us out the bottom four but we’re now in touch with several more teams.

We were bloody awful today, no idea going forward and shaky in defence. The honeymoon for (Hakan) our new manager is well and truly over. Cant see us surviving.

Fullarton can't last much longer at this rate, solidly holding his own in mid table might be good enough for the likes of our brothers at Hartlepool and Aldershot, but we are MASSIVE. :ds:

It's a good sign Maidstone are disappointed with a point against the top side. Their forum felt they should have stuffed us in the first half, but Wrexham really had nothing up front. Their equaliser was a cruel deflection. Harry Wheeler has really set things up nicely.

Can’t disagree with that as it was a deserved win. Obviously a crap result for us but it was an enjoyable game.
Was hoping we could be organised as we were to start the game and ride it out. If we were to get anything with our suspensions and injuries was a tall order.
Thought it was a fairly even first half in which we both had spells of decent football. You couldn’t get a handle on Junior but we didn’t capitalise on what chances came from it.
Second half you came out another gear up and then stepped it up again after that super free kick from McAnuff.
Koroma’s goal was quality, he’s turned our two CB’s inside out there and thundered it in. I could argue that we should have done more to defend that but feel it would take more from the quality of the goal than deserves.

All the best until we meet again. You’d be my pick of the current front runners to win this thing.

Since we've been here we've formed a habit of turning so-called good players for this level into complete turd. Doesn't help when you get fucked over by owners though and not getting paid on time. Add in a losing mentality and signing complete wasters didn't make a good place to be. Culture change will take a season or two more I reckon.

He showed nothing at all here and we ended up paying him to leave.

There were a few Orient fans in the away end, one bundled over a disabled fan of ours and there was a melee that followed.
From what I heard it was accidental.

Seemed to have a lot of the ball but mostly played between defence and Luke Summerfield. Contained Maidstone pretty well, nicely taken goal from them which you just have to accept.

Our problem continues to be scoring and our goal today was obviously hugely fortunate.

Would have felt hard done by had we lost 1-0 purely on Maidstone being restricted to very little. That said can't say we did enough with all the possession we had, draw a fair result. Some far worse teams than Maidstone, don't think they'll be in danger towards the end of the season.

Big game next week, probably a bumper crowd which means we normally don't win..

Was at Maidstone v Wrexham today. Point was about right on the whole, not a huge amount of chances for either side. Wrexham were nowhere near as good as Macclesfield were last season in their visit to the Gallagher in my opinion, and had to rely on a very fortunate deflection for their equaliser. Maidstone aren't very good, but scored a belter and deserved their point.

The posturing between the two sets of fans was hilarious.

Get rid of that plastic shite and we'll consider you. Most tinpot clubs in this league are those with plastic pitches, and Boreham Wood who have a half plastic pitch.

Plastic fantastic is bringing extra revenue for us so we can continue trying to compete and grow within our means.
If we ever reach super tinpot status I’m sure it’ll go.

Either that or go the $alford route and buy our way up the ranks.....no thanks.

Arsenal fans most probably. Always seem to attract a few wankers when Arsenal aren't playing.

Think Ashmore could be in trouble for this. Was some minor trouble outside the ground after too, apparently.

When things go against you stand no chance, had plenty of possession against a poor Halifax team, blew away a couple of good chance and conceded a defected shot, Halifax hit the bar late but but 16 hours I wont get back watching pure garbage , bring the Conference South

Utterly tin pot. I actually feel sorry for Ashmore in this. He looked in shock. He takes an awful lot of stick off various opposition fans. We gave him a bit at Orient but it was generally light hearted and he seemed to take it in good spirit. Worst bit of this is the Wood players clapping them immediately after. They should of just fucked off and left the inbreds to it.

This is what I find strange. He's had loads of stick in the past, and has never reacted to it. He loves it.

Pretty sure it's more than just the word "nonce" as Boreham Wood have said:

Not really indicative of Pools but Munns certainly had his problems up here, be it the cancerous tumour in his mouth he had removed or the dodgepot owners, he never really settled with us, was absolutely on a big wedge for us and both parties were glad to be rid of one and other, glad he's doing well cos there is a player there, sadly we never saw it.
