We won't score more than one, even if we do score. I rate Sheridan as a manager and even though he hasn't started too well this season, Chesterfield have the quality to shut our toothless attack down, as well as hurt us/capitalise on our shortcomings at the back.

Low-scoring draw or a drab, close defeat (ala Dover last Tuesday).

We have the English channel derby :)

Glad Kinnear has left, he always seemed to out-think our managers (not that it was all that hard with most of them).

No idea how this will go, on paper our results haven't been great but we've played okay apart from the Solihull game.

Liam Davis could be back which will help us defensively and hopefully Johnson will play someone up with Reid as i don't think the experiment of CLE in the hole suits Reidy at all.

Good luck to both Notts County and Wrexham. We don't understand you or where you come from but we're in awe of you, and are wanting for just one mote of that magick sparkle you both possess. A group of us will be gathered around Halifax's television set, and we plan to sacrifice one of our most prosperous young males to the winning team by sticking him halfway up a mill chimney, naked, and burning our fustian greatcoats beneath him while chanting a paean to the Great, and very Real, Brotherhood.

So, Boden.......Denton..........Fondop......... That's quite a trio of failed Shaymen strikers you got there. You won't be deleting those National League grounds from your satnav Favourites next summer. Sorry. :bdick:

A spectacle as ennervating as watching 2 bald men scrapping over a comb.

I'm having a promotion party round at mine on 28th Sept, while we watch our game at Dover. Wanna come? :bdick:

Are you using the same promotion banners that you had made up after beating Cambridge 1-0 in the first leg of your play off in 2014?

I predict a defeat. Really fed up with us now. Normally would have been all over a trip to the capital for a day out but not even contemplated this one

If Fondop plays he'll win you the game on his debut. It's what he does.

I'm not worried about him in the slightest though as he'll have given up by the time we face each other.

Taking in Forest v Birmingham today, ahead of our match tomorrow. Unfortunately, due to the East Midlands Rail strikes, we've been diverted through Tamworth so we're about to get on a train packed with Brummies.

We’ve got National League Champions 19/20 in town this afternoon. Anything less than a 5-0 defeat will be a good result.

Selected positions out injured: CB, CB, RB, LB, LB (among others, as is always the case with us).

We’re playing a LM (and a poor one at that in Sparkes) at LB and a CM at CB. Both on the same side of defence. If Chesterfield don’t win this today then my goodness they are in trouble.

We are terrible. Questions need to be asked now. We've had about 7 shots in total this season. Seriously pissed off

Don't cry, you'll still win the league.

Birmingham are shite. Forest's #19 is killing them.

Genuinely laughed out loud when I saw the goal time. Unreal that him and McGlashan have made the starting lineup already.

We've dropped a load of underperforming players and brought in our three most exciting youngsters - no idea what formation we're going with, but looks an attacking XI. Should be a decent game for the neutral.
