Not won in the league since early November, throwing away lead after lead, we're going down.

Sounded like we did a proper job on Hartlepool. Dampened down the initial atmosphere, solid as fuck in defence then took the chances on the break.

Oh and losing our 3 best players all in the space of a fortnight with the 4th best getting injured and possibly not coming back

We did a job on ourselves like we do every home game. Plenty of possession, no chances, criminal defensive errors, 7th home defeat of the season. It's like that every fucking week and that's why we're going down.

Before I say something that'll make me look like a dick, I'll request politely for Craig Harrison to just fuck off now. Please.

This season is just a humiliation.

So we lose 6-0 and still 3 points clear. This league is proper shit this year. Tranmere's to lose still. Etc etc etc.
You jest, but you collapse every year at this stage. Not that far ahead of 8th/9th..

Incredible performance, should of been 9 or 10. Think they only had 4 shots all game. Easily our best performance of the season. Roll on Tuesday

This with bells on, first goal what the fuck is Adams thinking, just leather the ball out, easily outmuscled by Quigley who finished well, I don’t even remember the second goal just Quigley again strutting through our defence with no Pools body near him.

I hope this takeover is almost finalised, he might be having second thoughts after watching that shite.

Harrison was having a right exchange of words with a fan in the way off, I think he must know his days are up.

Congrats to Macc on surpassing our terrible effort at Fylde... They're definitely going to be one to watch for the rest of the season though, especially with their attempt to sabotage our bid by loaning us their distinctly average back up keeper, who was at fault for both goals. We were ok today, some good stuff, some average.

Getting boring watching teams turn up and play for a draw but we arent good enough to break teams down. We wont win the league purely because we draw too many games. Top 3 if we're lucky!

Very much how I felt for the previous 3 seasons before this, with the exception of 3 or 4 sides.

Sounds like we were much improved on the last few games. Predicted 0/9 from this one, BW at home and Tranmere away, so I'll take that!

I saw 2 Macclesfield fans fighting with each other in the car park after the game. One was saying he’d had his drink spiked. Very entertaining

Getting frustrating but guess its what happens when you are fighting for promotion and its up to us to find a way through. Cant remember the last time the opposition keeper didnt get booked for time wasting at the Rec!

Solihull getting decent results now, they could well drag someone else into the mire if they keep it up.

We really are a right shambles at the moment.

This team has no bottle whatsoever, we constantly throw away leads, cant defend to save our lives, certain players always making the same mistakes & don't even get me started on Delano Sam Yorke (Lincoln & Woking fans were completely right about him).......we may only need another 12-13 points for safety, but im really struggling to see where they will come from.

50/1 on us going down is actually starting to look rather tempting.

It's always worth a few quid to soften the blow if it actually happens. I had 20 on us when we were 25s the year we came down!

Chester and Solihull are going to escape and Maidstone and Hartlepool are going down.

What happened at Fylde??? Our result (with an injured keeper for 30 minutes), whilst not acceptable, now looks slightly better given that Macclesfield result. Wow. Fylde to win the play-offs? They've certainly got the momentum.

As for us, we fully deserved the win but was quite impressed by Maidenhead. They aren't pretty, but they are very tall and very good at what they do. Their number 4 in particular looked a handy player. Usual clueless referee - some of his decisions were guesses. Pure guesses. Massive game at Wrexham next week - win that and it's definitely game on, although I personally feel we're (somehow) back in the hunt at the top now.

What really gets me about our pack of spineless pricks

They're playing in front of the biggest crowd they'll ever play in front of in their soon to be short 'professional' careers

There's no urgency, no passion, no bottle. No spirit. Nowt. Half of them are 'injured' yeah right, my fucking hairy arse cheek. Bastards.

The goodwill around the ground for the first half, brilliant atmosphere, create nothing, no purpose, never go in for a challenge, lucky it's 0-0 at the break. Second half they just piss about with the ball like a pack of fannies thinking they're Zinedine Zidane (yes you Blair Adams). Never create nothing, as per usual. Get caught on the break and it's 2-0, game over but was long lost before that.

Wrexham just wanted it more and that really saddens me. Just under 7000 in there today, chance to put your name in the shop window at least if you want to move (please do you're all welcome). Come on, the club is/was on the verge of admin and you can't pull your sodding fingers out. Arseholes. At least we gave you a fucking kit to play in this week. You pampered twats.

Harrison, actually no, I'm just going to explode. I can't even contemplate that the man exists at the moment.

I've just checked their fixtures for this season and they will be playing 23 away games, same amount as they will play at home bizarrely. :dk:

Ive just checked your fixtures for this season and you’ll find yourselves in League Two yet your posting on Non league thread bizarrely.

There's no somehow about it, you're still winning this awful league. I've been saying it all season long, even when you were about 14th and prior to the Mellon Crunch Talks™.

If you'd seen any of our recent performances before today's good one you'd understand why I feel more at home commenting about non league, our defeats v Accrington Crewe Morecambe and Newport were Conference North standard at best.
