Won 3-1 against Dover, good to get back to winning ways. Completely dominated possession without causing any threat early on. Dover score the first time they have a shot and i had the feeling it was going to be the same as the last few games. Luckily we found a goal and then cut them open. Much better today. Would of been furious if we hadn't beaten them. Dover looked very ordinary tbh, just a team of giants.

The late winners at Dagenham and Maidstone have made our point practically worth 3. :bdick:

We draw every game. Aldershot were impressive paticularly in the first half. 2nd was more even. Would like to see aldershot's 2nd as possible offside b4 corner and not 100pct sure the whole ball crossed the line. Quigley maybe should have got his hat-rick right at the end, but it would have been harsh on aldershot Town leave empty handed. Decent footballing team.

I'd have put my house on him scoring it, such is the nature of his finishing usually. Aldershot deserved at least a point, annoying thing is that we knew how they would play but still did nothing to stop them. And yet, we still could and should have won it. We looked dangerous every time we got near their goal but it was all too rare as Aldershot keep the ball for fun. Certainly wouldn't want to play them away in the playoffs.

Chester threw that away. Cracking own goal to seal it.

Our 12th of the season too! Feel like we should have won that but gave you two soft goals
You should've been 7 up at half time. You were crap in the 2nd half though. We'll both be in this league next season.

Did the same thing at Dagenham last season, virtually identical.

Ridiculous defeat.

What the actual fuck, Chester? Don't you want to stay up? :fl:
Sounds like we dominated, but exactly the same as last season 2-1 up going into the last 5 minutes. We missed a load of chances at 2-1 as well.

Thought we were ok 2nd half but if we played anything like the first half we would have won comfortably. Think we will both make the playoffs (might see you there) but dont think wither will go up.

Need to Boreham Wood to win on Tuesday so no one is tempted to give Askey manager of the month...would mean away to 2nd in the league for 3rd time in 4 games!

Coddington had a four goal nightmare today sadly, he's no Jonnie Maxted. Liburd also missed three golden opportunities to score.

Great these plastic 3G pitches. It doesn't matter how hard we try to lose on them, whether it's putting the kids out or just not turning up like today, we can't manage it.

This is the sort of blinding incompetence we Shaymen usually associate with ourselves. :fl:

Meanwhile we haven't turned up on plastic or grass for most of this season.

Well and truly fed up with this now, I've backed our manager but 17 games with no win he has got to take some blame. So many of our fans just blame the players for everything.....well our manager signed them, he trains them & gives them tactics etc etc

Maybe he should take some blame for this shambles.

Strange game between two teams very low on confidence. 85 minutes we didn't turn up, but somehow turned it around at the end. I like Maidstone, nice bunch of fans and I hope you get out of the run soon, was a nice day out.

We seem to prefer plastic for some reason. Prefer grass myself, but only as you can't smoke plastic.

You've now shat on us twice, far better than what we are and you were in the South last season. Says a lot about the shambles that is Pools, but the football is just a distraction from larger issues.

Bit more quality up top and you'd have walked away with a 5-0 away win to go with the 3-0 at yours. By the way, cheers for the collection you did for us. Good luck getting in the top 7.

Coddington was superb when on loan to us both times... though in fairness Dunn has done well recently after a dip in form few months back.

You definitely did not dominate.

We were in control 1st half until you levelled. 2nd half was fairly even and you got the breakthrough first. You didn’t have lots of chances at 2-1. We were pushing men forward and you had a few counters that resulted in routine saves.

In the end, a draw would have been a fair reflection of the game but Andy Halls decided to head past your keeper.

I felt sorry for the Maidstone fans on ninety minutes today. They must be absolutely gutted. We were absolutely shocking and deserved nothing from the match; a couple of substitutions in the closing stages and some kamikaze defending from the hosts basically gifted us the points.

The Stones were no great shakes but at least did the basics ok.

Perhaps we will fluke promotion through the play-offs this season ?

Seriously hope you guys sort it out. Met some top people when you came to our place.

Didn't go today so can't comment, but sounded like a thourougly deserved win.

Cheers. I'm still not confident we will make it, but who knows! Away games at Barrow, Eastleigh and Gateshead will see where we're really at!

Only shame about that bucket collection was that it was a Trophy game rather than league. Would probably have been closer to £6-700 had it been a league game.

Maidstone were terrible today, no idea how they managed to score twice as going forward they were poor as I've seen for a while. Tranmere not a whole lot better, but had the better of the play overall. Having said that, they were gifted all 3 goals, with the first and second subject to some terrible defensive work and the third down to an awful tackle in the box to gift a penalty. Probably the right result, but the game didn't deserve 5 goals.

Certainly deserved to win today, can’t believe we’ve done that at Dagenham two years on the bounce. Should have been out of sight really but Archer and Hannah wasted chances when through.

Noticeable improvement again can’t afford to lose these games.
