Hooray. Now it's YEOVIL'S turn to be top of the league before dropping into mortifying relegation form. Enjoy it, you (mostly un-racist) Glovers!

We weren't that great today but fortunately played a pretty rubbish Wrexham side who we gifted a goal to and still beat.

Not sure what the answer is there as they look a shadow of the team that they've been in the past few years. There's a couple of decent players amongst it all but no real game plan.

For us, much of the same. We look like a team that will be challenging the fringes of the top 7 but no better.

Don't let the 9 wins in 11 fool you. We're not playing that great and it wouldn't be a major surprise to see us lose a couple more and slide down to mid-table. From the radio it sounds as if we scored early and settled against a poor Chorley side, but an inability to get a second meant they gradually grew into the second half before bundling in an equaliser. Only then did we attack with purpose again and score a deserved winner.

Much needed win after the week we've had and now can look forward to Haringey on Tuesday where the media will be praying for an upset.

Managed to find a pub with it on after our 2-1 win at Walsall. Even after 5 years of suffering Chesterfield and county reminds me just how totally dreadful the quality of the football is in the conference. That said, had either watched our game they’d have said the same  (just not conference obv!)

County shouldn’t really be behind mind. Great following when on tv as well, well done to their fans, busy East Midlands service back!

We are back, I think. Get super Jim Bentley in charge and let's fly up this division. Getting shown up by the likes of halifax and Barrow. Behave. Not happening. Our season starts here

Well that’s our annual good start going down the drain again. Two key players missing and we turn to utter dross. I’d be content with mid table at this rate. No way will we finish top half

Don’t worry you’re playing Sutton on Tuesday. We lost to Ebbsfleet at home today despite Ebbsfleet playing the last few minutes with an outfield player in goal

I counted 43 over hit or straight into keepers arms crossed and , poor lay offs or awful final passes before I stopped countingh. There was 20 mins still to go....

So many in form players had collective shockers, lots of pretty passing and triangles to get in good positions but no threat at all.

Bar the goal, both keepers had nothing to do all game ! Should of been Bromley 5 v 0 Halifax

Typical Notts on TV performance, remove the cameras 1-2 away win I'm sure of it lol

terrific goal for stockport & their fans
Can't see Stockport as a top 7 team but Dover were shite & deserved nothing
Not shown but since all the County players ran off to celebrate in our own half, the Dover lot decided to try and restart play while they were busy! Luckily Sam Walker was awake enough to step in their half and delay kickoff

He might only look 12 years old but Sweens is making a strong case to get the job full time. Intelligent bloke and club legend who talks a good game and has 3 wins in 3. He’s got us organised while playing some decent football. Is it too early for him though?

I thought us trying to kick off was quite funny. We wouldn't have scored
is it allowed?

Pen to Torquay, John Rooney sent off - he didn't even make the tackle?

Sent off for handball I believe. Definitely looked like it struck his hand and stopped a goal so isn't it then an automatic red? Evatt was absolutely apoplectic about it though.

I would say Barrow are one of the best sides we have played so far, can definitely see why they have been on such a good run. Played some really decent stuff even with ten men.

They couldn't handle Armani Little today though, imperious performance from him today but unfortunately looked to do his hamstring in the last minute.

2 goals and 2 assists for Jamie Reid, think we may struggle to keep hold of him in January.

Cracking effort by the 70 odd Barrow fans, hell of a trip in awful conditions and sang for the whole game.

Don't do it! Appointing club "legends" is always a recipe for disaster.

He played close to 400 times for us over 13 years, he's doing well as caretaker but I don't want to be hating the bloke and hounding him out of the club 6 months down the line when it all goes belly up like usual.

I'm glad I'm not the one making the decisions cos Sweeney is making it harder for them week after week.

I feared the worst and it happened. Neat triangles, defence rarely tested, great possession stats ....but zilch going forwards, could have carried on all night and not scored.
Ardley deserve his share of credit this season but he was partly to blame today. Should have taken off Rose or Doyle on the hour for Booty but didn't .

Would agree at the time but in hindsight I thought Booty surprisingly produced next to nothing. Wooton couldn't hold anything up and was poor, unless it went to Enzio or Saunders I didn't fancy anything to happen.

Nice play to get 30/35 yards out and the nothing. But with 10 to go , the manager has to just go long we haven't got time to spend 3/4 mins building things up slowly

Dover Stockport 2 poor teams playing out a poor game, with a poor referee and the poorer team lost
more importantly though
Hope the Stockport County fan that was taken ill during the game recovers soon as possible

Booty was chucked out wide, he's ineffective there, we've played him there a few times and he's uncomfortable in that position.

Shitting ell in a basket, we were fucking crap. Chesterfield were a bit less awful, but didn’t have to be that good to just stand around watching us pointlessly knocking it around in front of them.

Yet we're still 9 points behind you :bang:

I see Scott Rendell is still managing to troll you though.

We’re just about the only team he scores against these days.

Won’t be too long before we’re dragged down towards you lot. It’s only 6 points between us if you count the standard Aldershot win at the Wreck.

We should have been at least three up against Wrexham before we finally took the lead in first half stoppage time. We then gave away yet another sloppy goal when we had several chances to clear and after that the game become very disjointed but we managed to find the winner.

Wrexham look to be in trouble, very poor showing from them.

Agree he should be central as its his best position. But he should be able to cross a ball relatively accurately when under minimal pressure as was the case at least 3 times after he came on. He is our set piece taker after all and one of our better strikers of the ball.

More importantly what was up with the usually impressive Wooton ?
