Their player decided to fake an injury in the first half when we had the ball on about the halfway line. Guiseley got the drop ball, kicked in our right in the corner for a throw and ‘boxed us in’. Suppose it makes a change from them trying to score from drop balls (WHAT THEY DID)

Fair play for making the trip, it was decent support. One of the rare fixtures that feels like a football league game, off the pitch at least. Hope you had an easy journey home.

Chester were one of the most negative teams I've seen since our Ryman days. It seemed like Bignot's plan from the off was just to hang on for a draw.

Never realised that Maidenhead borrowed the old Underhill pitch, this resulted in a game that was one way traffic in either half. The pitch is terrible so good luck anyone playing there later this season. Another away game without a win makes it 9 on the road not a single victory. Cheek back in the goals was the only plus of the day. Play offs for us.

I went to the game at Tranmere today and I was not surprised that we lost but it was embarrassing at times. Tranmere could’ve had 10 goals in the first 15 minutes alone. Team’s a joke at the minute. We’ve gone from the best defence in the league (along with Wrexham) in the first 8 or so games and all of a sudden it’s gone to shit, midfield get overrun and give the ball away in silly positions and the attack is so disjointed with us reverting back to long ball and hope it falls to us. Embarrassed with the team today, however, not the support from our terrific away fans who didn’t stop singing today. Outsung Tranmere the whole time. Very proud to be a town fan in that aspect. Also, credit to mottley Henry who looks a superb player

We are what we are- a team fresh out of Conference North with a bang average Conference North squad. We aren't The Shaymen of Matty Pearson, Lois Maynard and Lee Gregory, that's for sure. This is the season North Ferriby would have had if we hadn't taken all of their "best" players off them. We did bolster the squad with quality upgrades at right back and centre half but the first thing those 2 players did was break down in their first tackles and get taken out of the game till after Xmas (remember Dan Gardner? Is the Shay curse real? The case of Sam Johnson and his fridge makes me think it is). Heath knows it's time to turn ugly (easier for Billy than for most)- expect to see Danny Clarke and David Lynch back in the side, digging in for all they're worth. Up The Shaymen.

As others have said, a draw was a fair result yesterday.

I thought Leyton Orient generally played quite well and dominated play for big chunks of the game, but also looked vulnerable when we got at them. Something we didn't do enough of I think. And Wrexham were also far softer than usual. Kelly central in a four and another poor display from Mackreth were the main factors there, and I think we've all lost confidence in Dunn now, who fucked up massively for their first. He wasn't great away at Fylde in the FA Cup, but it was pleasing to see Hurst recapture the form he showed earlier in the season before he got injured. So that was a big positive.

Nice to see one of our strikers take their chances and Massanka showed exactly why he should have been starting every game this season up front

Disappointing and mildly frustrating to let the lead go twice, but I was happy enough with a point.

Dunn was pretty dodgy away at Dagenham too. Spilled one fairly tame shot right into danger that was tapped in, but blushes were saved by the offside flag.
I'd love for us to bring Coddington back who hasn't been getting in the Northampton squad; best keeper we've had down here in a number of seasons.
But I can't see Keates bothering now he has two fit keepers again, so time to bring Officer Dibble back in who had been faultless for a few games.

19 hour day trip to Gateshead, then an hour to get through the Dartford Tunnel , for what was entertaining, wind assisted farce of a game that ended 0-0 , as the game was played against a strong gale force wind, and could there be a worst place to go watch a game in a blasted hurricane ,I think not I thought a few times that the roof of the away side stand was going to fly off and join the A1, and boy was it fucking cold there....................................

As for the game, Dover were , well Dover, defended well and refused to take their chances when they came along, Gateshead tried to play some passing stuff but were powder puff in the last third, so must regarded as a good point for us, although Gateshead did hit the bar twice,but you get nowt for that
we extended our lead at the top of the pile ,next up Eastleigh come to town , Oh Joy

Just watched the highlights on Stones TV and I think you were doing us a disservice saying we were the most negative team you're played. Considering you are a top team and playing on a surface that you're used to I thought we did alright. The guy on our local radio station said that it was a game that could have gone either way. McCombe and Hannah both missed decent chances. I think our defence didn't realise that the corner had been taken. We did much better than last year though.

I've just seen it, looks to me like he chested it and it bounced off his chest and hit the top of his arm? Hardly deliberate hand ball. From the Woking comments I presumed he'd punched or palmed the ball away deliberately. Screaming for a red card, maybe shows how desperate they were at the time.

It's hardly news- we are OF the Football League. Fans of clubs like ours are NOT the same as the Tin Potters. Even in Unibond 1st Division North, new manager Neil Aspin commented that our games had a "Football League" feel to them, while Dean Saunders, on a scouting trip before our FA Cup tie with Wrexham, said our game at Harrogate Railway had "felt like a Football League match".
You can take the fans out of the Football League, but you can't take the Football League out of the fans.

I'm not sure this was the case. What did we have in the first hour? Besides your fans incorrectly claiming offside for Norwood.

We should have had one stonewall pen and there was a debatable one later on. There was certainly systematic free kicks in your favour which briefly gave you a glimmer of hope as it resulted in the second goal.
