Halifax v Alty
Notts County v Pools
Stockport v Wrexham
Wealdstone v Boreham Wood
Weymouth v Torquay
Yeovil v Shots

We go into our game with Hartlepool having not played since a week last Saturday in the trophy, when we made a load of changes too, so on paper at least should be a lot fresher than our NE brothers, who have played twice since then. They appear to be in decent form, especially at home, and have signed up a goalscorer, but I’m still going to go for a narrow win for the ‘pies.

Our game against Borehamwood has been switched to their place as we are tinpot and needed an inspection in the morning.
I think this was instigated by honest Danny Hunter for the good of football.
Not sure it’s the best decision by us, as still quite a few injuries and need to improve the squad so a breather may have been better.
Us poor Wealdstone fans who haven’t got a pot to piss in now have to find a tenner down the back of the sofa to pay for the stream.
Anyway hopefully we learnt how to defend for Xmas, or at least not gift them goals.
I‘m off to watch my Oliver DVD.

Fair play to Boreham Wood and Wealdstone there IMO, the kind of creative thinking we’re going to need to have a chance of finishing this season.

We changed formation for the last two games and went with three centre backs and two wing backs, seems to be working well, Ferguson is gonna be a miss, other than that, same team again, we've lost the last two away without scoring so I'd take a point.

Game is off as we have a positive COVID test within the camp.

So Maidenhead now without a game until January 23rd. This is getting ridiculous. Single positive tests aren't enough to see games called off at higher levels. Is this elite football or not?

Depending on other results today Aldershot's 3 points could put them as high as 8th.

They should call all Maidenhead games off. Pointless affairs.

We have quite a few injuries now and Danny Wright will be out for a few weeks as will Armani Little. We only have two fit forwards for today so Johnson will be bringing in one or two on loan for sure.
I think it will be a scrappy affair although Asa Hall back from suspension.

You would think not having played on Boxing Day should work in our favour against Pools, a two day turnaround really isn’t long.

Its clear that every club will have a period of no games due to infections at their club, we went over a month with only 1 game.
Whats problematic is if it keeps happening involving the same club, Dover etc.

Challinor’s comment about facing the ‘unknown’ because we haven’t played since Stockport was a bit weird, we’ve only had one called off.

Could work either way I suppose, it's been nearly two weeks since your last competitive game, whereas we've lined up two wins in a short period, I don't think we should be blowing playing two games in three days.

I'd imagine the stream is decent? They've give it the big build up with all their camera angles, replays and analysis.

Yes. We’ll be playing 4-2-3-1 and the only real question is whether one of the 3 will be Jim O’Brien or Elisa Sam

Yeah, the Notts stream is easily the best one I’ve seen this season, basically like watching it on the tele.

If the other teams at the bottom keep playing & losing, their points-per-game will become worse than ours & we will be out of the bottom 3

Tyrone Barnett swearing during his interview was easily the highlight of Woking v Eastleigh

How’s he doing? Always thought there was a player in there somewhere.

We’ve actually gone with Tom Walker in our one position that’s not certain currently. Creativity rather than the pace/height of Sam or work rate of JOB. Walker hasn’t done much since signing, hopefully due a performance.

No Murphy in our squad again. He'll be off in Jan along with a few others who have been mysteriously missing recently without any reason given.

He hasn't started that many games, been a bit hit and miss so far for me, was always a strange signing, he's behind Featherstone, Shelton and Holohan in the team so needs to take his chance when he gets it.

Inevitably it’s being dodgy for the first time all season. :D

Steve Evans says Gillingham are after a Conference player - is it him?

Annoying to be behind as it’s all very even, but this is a high quality game for this league IMO, both teams playing some really nice stuff.

Big issue for us is that the three behind Wootton can’t get up close enough to him.
