Excellent day for us all round. It should have been out of sight though. I'm sick of these nervy finishes to matches.

No thanks to Pools this time. I'm waiting to read what SoupLadle has got to say about his lot blatantly disregarding Brotherhood statute and taking a rather needless point off the O's.

Good turnout from Orient as well, decent atmosphere all round. Was a Proper game. That's all that Pools fans ask for, just a bit of effort and willingness. I'd still have clapped them off if we got beat playing like that. Obvious to me over the last 2 games that they're ready to put a shift in for Hignett.

Hope Cassidy is enjoying the positive vibe in the bottom 4.

I knew they'd bring more than 200-300, he's got no faith that Terminator, a Bates or Money Pools team would've been paggered today after their first went in, really hope Kabamba fancies staying on next season, he's still a bit raw but there's a player in there and that's 3 goals in 3 now.

Let's play a game, find The Terminator...

I reckon the Mackenzie Crook looking geezer in the middle.
Awww it's lovely that they get let out for a day isn't it.

What happened in injury time down at ebbsfleet? 4 men sent off in 6 minutes is a bit much I think
A foul on our player started a brawl which saw Maxwell and one of their get straight reds and then two second bookables, Wright I think for time wasting, not sure, but good luck to whomever has this ref next.

If only Akil Wright could finish...

I swear he could have had a hat-trick today. I guess it didn't matter in the end, but hopefully Hughes teach for the future.

All that aside, it was a better performance with Tollitt having a decent game with, I think, his last game with us.

Comfortable win for Maidenhead against a surprisingly poor Boreham Wood. Starting to look a lot more organised with a packed midfield and pace out wide. Should have scored more although Odametey stupidly got himself booked for time wasting then for dissent - we will miss him next week at Orient.

What are the odds on Braintree staying up? They seem to have sorted their defence out.

Looks like its a 3 way fight between us, Braintree & Aldershot for who finishes bottom.

Tougher than it should have been today. The last 20 minutes were full of unnecessarily desperate defending. But we did hold out for the win and it was great to see Roarie Deacon back

Knew we we’re going to lose with that line up, can’t afford to have the likes of Munns, Balanta and then Wilkinson injured and expect to get something playing three holding midfielders, baffling. Wrexham could have easily scored a few more but they are crap up top, the big fella couldn’t finish a happy meal.

No thanks to Pools this time. I'm waiting to read what SoupLadle has got to say about his lot blatantly disregarding Brotherhood statute and taking a rather needless point off the O's.

There was a meeting of the Brotherhood top brass on Thursday afternoon at 2:31 pm. (chief was one minute late)

It was agreed that whilst it was unlikely that Pools could go down, there was not enough weighting behind points fixing in this game. It was recommended that a share of the spoils was in order. Handshakes and brotherly hugs were to be shared between the Orient & Pools players at FT which was adhered to.

The exec outlined 2 reasons:

i) Pools were not mathematically or greatly out of danger
iI) Wrexham still have a chance of top spot.

Hope that helps.

As Mellon’s brought 2 wingers in, you might be able to loan Tollitt for the rest of the season, if your new manager likes the look of him.

Well done Braintree great win today!

Bottom of the table playoff at yours on the final day?

By the way, would you like Finney back?
I take it hes gone back to being accident prone, controlling the ball like its a grenade, can't pass the ball to save his life and hoofing it long all the time?? I dunno what the heck happened to him this season, but he was brilliant last year. Its like he completely forgot how to play football when we gave him a 2 year deal and made him one of our top earners.

No chance of staying up, but they'll come straight back, it's all they ever do. These yo-yo clubs like Braintree, Woking and Halifax keep reappearing in this league. Even right now I couldn't tell you whether Woking were in this league or the South.

You've got about 57 games in hand. You'll be fine.

We should be fine. Absolutely. However, we could be in the drop zone before the end of the month. We cannot be complacent.

If things stay as they are and 4 southern teams get relegated, bizarrely its looking like Braintree will be put in the National North.

Seriously, i’d take 23rd place right now. We are down, plain and simple. This is the worst Aldershot team I’ve ever seen.
