Looking forward to the game in a few weeks.
Hignetts got us playing well in parts & the goals are flying in.
What I saw of Wrexham today,I think we've a good chance of beating you.
I don't know about that. We're a better team with Walker in the side so if he's back, I'd fancy us more. We're capable of beating sides outside the top 7 at the moment. Hopefully your manager has a similar mentality to yourself going into the game.

What the fucks happened to Aldershot?

2016/17 they were the first team to beat us at the rec in September then later on in the season we played out a 2-2 draw at our place but they were excellent and should of done the double over us.

Wanted anyone but them in the play offs because their front line tied us In knots in the league (Mensah, Kanu, Benyu) luckily we got past them in playoffs but thought they’d go again. Which they did last year and we were on the brink of playing them again only for Ebbsfleet and that penalty shoot out.

I backed them to win the league this year, shows what I know. They look gone which Is sad.

I said the same thing a couple of weeks back dean, they were the best team in the league that season.... a couple of shots lads explained it . Its on a matchday thread from a few weeks back

Just how many penalties have Hartlepool had this season? To the nearest hundred please.

14

just seen highlights
1st penalty ball hits hand - home teams only get those

You could argue that but the second was a clear pen and the other one he totally missed when one of your players punched the ball in the fucking air so bit of karma there

I don’t quite share Seaton poolie’s optimism. We’re not that good, good sides don’t trail 0-2 at half time to Dover. We are getting better though, and have signed well recently. Once Hignett gets the team turning up for 90 instead of 45 every week then we’ll be doing alright.

I know what your saying, but Dovers recent form has been good.
4 away wins in the last 6,including a 3-1 at Salford.

It was a decent result in the end as these are the sort of games we lose at the Vic. Didn’t expect us to win before the game. Lets see what this side can do with a few more signings once the pressure is back on in August. As it stands it’s just a work in progress. Optimism is growing and a good game for the couple hundred kids who had their tickets donated for by exiles, hopefully they’ll be back.

What must they of been thinking at half time, 2-0 down watching this shite then being led on some depressing march around the pitch in the pissing down rain, poor kids, rewarded in the end though.

Saturday was a great comeback but Dover thought they had the game won in the second half, barely had a kick until we got the equaliser, a top 7 team would done us in and got 3 or 4 and killed us off completely, we're streets ahead of were Bates and Money had us, just need to sack off this 5 man defence and two holding midfielders at home shite.

We usually do a bit better against teams around the top though, less complacency. Think we need to start phasing out the 3 at the back though, just get doubled up on every game. Works to some extent away but if we want to improve our dire home record over recent years we have to use wingers and get at teams. 2nd half we did that and Dover had no answer. Must get Molyneux full time.

Molyneux is way too good for this league, can't see the Mackems keeping him on but he's destined for league footy, maybe the appeal of staying local will sway him but you gotta imagine there'll be plenty of bigger clubs in for him.

Spoke to a regular in the Corner Flag on Saturday reckoned Josh Hawkes has signed a pre-contract with Sunderland for next season, I'm sceptical to say the least cos' nowt stays under wraps at Pools and no one else has mentioned anything?

Why did Solihull decided to play from the back and why didn't the linesman flag for offside on Green when the ball was won back? Or was it because it was a block rather than deliberate pass?

Bloody good goal we scored - 19 passes and every outfield player involved. We can still make the play offs, after all!

Our sending off looked extremely harsh to me. And I'm fairly sure the ref is supposed to stop play if he's going to send someone off. What would have happened if we had broken and the soon to be sent off player scored?

We should definitely be awarded the three points for that

Solihull were trying to keep ball in hand so their fly half could try a drop goal before time ran out. As for Green, charging a kick down doesn’t count as a knock-on, so he couldn’t be offside.

We're ok against teams who try to play football.
We struggle with the sides who play hoofball,Bromley s fine example.
