We are going to rotate to some extent as we've got 6 games between now and West Ham on the weekend of the 5th. We physically can't keep playing the same 11. And our squad depth isn't great. Morgan-Smith didn't play yesterday for example.

I had noticed an upturn in form for you guys and I can imagine it will be great game we've scored a lot but got one of the best defences as well. I'm not sure how many will travel honestly. Our home to away fans aren't great honestly I reckon somewhere between 50-70.

Just a random signing from Irish league big Cameroon born centre half,
Slightly worried 80% of footage seen is of him heading against teams that play like Kettering.
Probably absolute shit with his feet.
Anyway wonder which one of our centre backs will be signing for Chester?
I think we're all right for CHs. We've still got the pensioners Grand, Livesey and at a pinch Kevin Roberts as well as Williams (who has been geat this season) and yongster Burke, who seems the real deal.

The FA Cup :bg:

But Richard Lane purchased the club in 2019. He is the son of previous benefactors Kath and Ernie Lane who kept the club going when we had no money about 10 years ago.

He runs a computer company called EBC group. Don't know how big the pot is but our Cup run will be helping.

interesting day at Farsley Celtic they pretty much lost half of their first team over a day, gone to Curzon, Boston, Southport etc, etc.

they have put out a statement to say it all was player choices due to work commitments etc, etc but their fans have gone a little worried today at the sheer number who left.

Think it'll do them the world of good to hit refresh on that aging squad. Hanson looks like he's getting a bad rap from their fans but it's obvious what you get from him these days, a big stiff lump to win knockdowns. Dunno what anyone saw in Walton, pretty mediocre boring midfielder.

Hmm looking at the team sheet we’ve gone and adjusted our team to play like them big and tall……not a fan of doing that it plays to their strengths but we will see

Listened to that sounds shocking 1-0 Kettering but just two sides constantly pumping it and really only one good chance each.

Can only go by what others who were there said but by all accounts we played well at Blyth, dominated large sections of the 2nd half and some good goal keeping kept us out. However we lost 2 nil and again no goals. The squad needs a major overhaul in midfield and upfront but I have a bad feeling Groves spunked all the budget.

Three wins in four for Terry Mitchell`s Blyth.

Must be Blyth`s best run for a while.

Will be far from easy on Saturday at the Impact. Can see our season fizzling out now

Fuckin hell Marcus Dinanga comes back to haunt us again!

Well that was a cruel blow I thought we played very well, just didn't really produce any end product. In fact I don't recall Kidderminster's keeper breaking any sweat apart from freezing his bollocks off in the antarctic conditions.

I thought AA might just have tightened the defence up in the last 5-10 minutes and settled for a battle hardened point. I felt all the time in the last 10 minutes that Kidderminster would score. We put up a good show but all for nothing. One thing's for sure our defence turned in another noteworthy performance, no surprises one of them got man of the match!

No complaints regarding the result and I do think that Kidderminster will be challenging for the title come the end of the season..

that’s fair, was a bloody tough game and fuck me was it cold

I do think if you’d have had Charman available, you’d have probably already been in front by the time we got the goal with the couple of chances you did create. Thought Lambert looked good especially first half - I know from twitter it was a popular move when you secured him on the contract.

Perhaps an element of justice for the disallowed goal that we had from an advantage before it got pulled back for the free kick; but that ref did seem to flip a coin for some decisions. Perhaps the cold got to him as well.

A real tough battle though, one of those where I’ve come away delighted because of the weather and the difficulty of the game. Hopefully one of those results we look back on in a couple of months time and say “that was huge”

Sounded awful yesterday from accounts of people there easily worst performance of the season and deserved thumping.

blame manager on that one decided to worry too much about facing a big long ball big of lumps on long grass so decided only way to combat it was to ‘play the same way’ then find out all that does is highlight they are massively better than you because they play it every week and know what to do.

should have gambled on through balls running and pace……..not just changed to ‘tall people’ and hope somehow this did well.

Did they own some kind of drainage concern. Hope they are still alive.

Hearing today that we all but set to lose Luke Charman, apparently close to signing a deal with Rochdale.

I was reading on the Rochdale forum 'Luke Charman's left his job in the North East. Rumours abound that he's chosen his new club'

Good luck to the lad if he goes to Rochdale. He's a quality player that will be sorely missed as we move into the second half of the season.

New leaders in the National League North as Gateshead go top of the table after a 4-1 win against AFC Telford United.

And a paltry 874 made the effort to witness them go top of the league, albeit on a cold night like! I think It's still poor support..

they were getting those sorts of attendances when they were near the top of the National League so it's no surprise.

How's Longdon getting on, York fans? Likely to keep him beyond January?

Chester at home Tomorrow hope I can get to it but have things to do tomorrow.

Need to win urgently as season on brink of collapse although good thing is while we’ve dropped badly away from top 7th spot is up for grabs for many clubs.

Been improving a lot in December until last weeks horror show when manager worried too much about the opposition that our own side and changed it (bad error) hope we go back to the usual.

Have dominated our last 3 home games but cannot turn it into points

We have half a new side who have barely played together so difficult to know what to expect tomorrow. Have at least trained a fair bit during the enforced break.

Did get to see Apter in the last game though who looks like a hell of a prospect, looking forward to see what he can do against a side who won't put 11 men behind the ball like Bradford did.

Well, we go into our game at Brackley having just sold Cardwell to Southend and Stockport have recalled Alli, leaves us without a strike force basically, cant see us scoring in the next 4 games!

A little feedback for the Alfreton fans. Atkinson is going to earn himself a contract renewal until the end of the season, has really come good in the last three games and back to the Will we used to know.
