I'm glad I'm not a Chorley fan. This Prince Whatsisname sounds a right fruitcake. I hope I'm wrong!
It remains to be seen, can only say the outgoing Owners seem confident that the club will be in good hands, only time will tell. The outgoing Owners have taken the club as far as they could and have been dealing with the new people for several months.

I appreciate a Lynn fan isn't in any position to pass judgement on another club's owners but I think Railway Blue has it just about spot on

I hope it works out for Chorley because imo they’ve overachieved last few years. I never feel like they’ve been backed really and I think they could be a bit of a sleeping giant. If someone got hold of them with a bit of money and a plan they could grow massively I think. Decent support, big enough place. Always hard work to play against. A mate of mine used to play for them under flitcroft and he loved it there.

Harry Williams signed. Very good start to transfer business from us, but will mean nowt if almost all of last season's squad go. Hopefully we can retain 6/7 at minimum from that.

Brandon Hall was another to leave, signing for Telford. On the cards for a long time, he lives in Shrewsbury and wanted to be there. Tbh his performances have been shaky and for me he really shouldn't have got the nod to start in the play-off game.

Coates and Edwards re-signed for next year. Really pleased for that. Lots more to come yet.

Edwards must have proved his fitness then? Fair play to him if he has, it it wasn't for his injury he'd be a Football League player.

Hall as well. Done well and difficult to handle when on song but his season got derailed a bit with injuries.

Coates was the other apart from Willoughby I thought there could be a chance we'd lose to a higher division club.

With Edwards as well our first choice back four is back for another season and we conceded the fewest in the league let's not forget.

We've just signed Chris Renshaw from Curzon Ashton. Have to say I'm happy with that, Tony McMillan did well in goal last season but we can't be relying on a 41 year old too much longer!

Our other signings so far are Matty Thomson (right back from Bamber Bridge), and Freddie Sass (left back from Mossley). Pretty standard of us to pick up young players from the leagues below and hoping they can make the step up.

Glad Matty has got himself a move, came through our youth system and played a few games towards the end of the season we were relegated after Andy Halls had disgraced himself in that position for months on end. Sounds like he's been doing really well at Bamber Bridge since.

I don't think we scored a single goal from a corner this season, so having some taller players isn't necessary a bad thing. We were quite direct at times under Rowe, had Carline throwing Delap like balls into 6 foot 5 Liam Daly and stuff. Coincidentally Flowers had Carline and Daly at Solihull and re-signed Daly from us when he went to Barnet.
Hey. Alfreton have signed Kennedy Digie. What should we expect from him?

Injuries lol. Nah in all honesty when he first signed he looked ok enough, but had a dreadful game at Blyth near the start of the season giving away a calamity of a goal and then got injured 20 minutes or so later. We then barely saw him as he was out for so long and when he was declared fit King never played him

We've brought in Cameron Salkeld attacking midfielder, ended the previous season playing for Clyde in Scotland.

Also former Blyth centre half Toby Lees, was one of the leading players at Blyth in the last two seasons.

Also left back Jordan Mustoe, ended the previous season playing for Warrington Rylands in the Northern Premier League.

Also centre midfielder Tom Platt, ended the season playing for Boston United.

This Year's Boost The Budget Target:

Was absolutely smashed with a staggering grand total of £162,070. - :brill:

Farsley manager left today that is a huge blow for them as he did so well considering the lack of resources there.

Making up for those lack of resources Joao Silva a Portugese prospect has become there eighth signing of the summer, along with Rudy Misambo, Conor Branson, Ryan Watson, Ben Atkinson, Darren Stephenson, George Smith and veteran striker Clayton Donaldson.

Clearly taking no chances this season after just escaping the drop.

He's not particularly quick, he's only five foot 7 or so and isn't strong but play him as a fox in the box sort of role and he'll tuck away the majority of chances. His positioning is superb and is a good finisher. Reminds me of a young Matt McClure.

Mansell brought him to the club after working with him at youth level at Bristol Rovers and played him out wide, he was totally ineffectual and tbh thought he'd go. But King put him up front when he came in and he went on a great run of goals. Play to his strengths and he'll get you 15+ goals I'd say

We were missing a natural finisher last season so hopefully we play to his strengths. We've been playing 2 up top so I can see him playing off another striker

Will that be able to accommodate your crowds , which I guess will be 5,000+ if you do well
it holds 4,300 which will be enough.

We've got a few fans there mixed in with Donny/SW/SU and a handful of Lincoln.

Putting aside the issues off the pitch hope the fans turn up and drink/eat in the club there making Trinity a few quid, their board has changed from a few years back when they tried to dance on our grave(along with Bottesford).

The Owner won’t speak to the local media only people from a newly formed podcast, that’s where it has come from.

We've signed a few more, but I don't know much about them other than Joe Parker and there's still radio silence about any of last season's squad. Fanbase has gone from being pleasantly surprised of the first acquisitions to being a little nervous now.

Parker was the third coming in from Chippenham, was their top scorer and their fans seem pretty gutted by it. He's another local for us, and has had several spells here. Very inconsistent in the past.

Hungerford's player of the season two years running also signed. McGrory is a central midfielder but can also play right back.

Felix Miles is a young lad who signed from Stratford (he was on loan at Cinderford and finished their top scorer from Midfield). Apparently he was a real prospect a few years ago, but if he's not even getting in a Southern Central team then that's not a particularly great sign but maybe he'll come good.

See Pinchard is potentially on the off from Hereford. Been a rumour for a while he could be heading here but also heard Chester are in the running
