Delighted to see Scott Doe in despair there. I mean, what a long journey it's been for him to get here with Boreham Wood. Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.

Well in Tranmere, back where you belong.

Deserved the win, great backs to the wall display.

Now fuck off and never come back :)

I am now calling on the brotherhood to make sure that as long as one of us is still stuck in this shit hole league, no shit like Boreham Wood or FGR will ever get to a promotion final again. :bdick:

Fuck yes, came in from work, turned it on and literally saw Boreham Wood equalise. What an effort and shift from Tranmere in the second half, fantastic result.
Boreham Wood can fuck off back to the Isthmian North where they and their 'fans' belong.

I really don't care for proper clubs and bollocks like that. I like to keep things as simple as poss - best side on the day should win, and today that is deffo not Tranny.

Sorry brotherhood fans.

Tranmere the better side on the day imo. They deserve it. Good on em.

Well done Nors and Manny. :brill:

Plus, putting aside all the proper/tinpot stuff they are on the whole a decent club with decent fans, unlike B-Wood who on the whole are an utter abortion.

Hmm, good point. I don't believe he ever did.

What I meant though is that he gives the impression that he's decent enough to be a league player until one sees his tendency to switch off during games.

Really? Saw him a few times for Barnet and thought he was way out of his depth.

I was all for us poaching Garrard from B’wood as our new manager but having seen his ridiculous haircut, Wood’s inability to take advantage of their man advantage for 100 minutes through moving the ball around too slowly, their shocking defending and his attempt at a face-off with McNulty at the final whistle, I’m now not so sure.

Terrific effort and guts from Tranmere to get back where they belong after being down to ten men almost the entire match and having their momentum further disrupted by injury, subs and a mammoth amount of injury time, hats off to them.

Interesting facts:

- Tranmere swapped places with Barnet in 2014/15, now they are doing it the other direction three years on.
- No ex-league club has taken three years to get back to the FL. Some have done it at the first attempt, others two, others four or many more, but never three. On a more negative note one of the sides they're replacing has set a record for the fewest consecutive seasons spent in the Football League - guess which one?

Can't wait for Salford vs Brackley in next season's final.

Phil Neville's missus doing the ironing in the exec box, Rhodri Giggs getting a quickie marriage to all of the Brackley players' missus and passing them on to Ryan to consummate, Paul Scholes in a half Oldham, half Salford scarf and Gary Neville getting in a flap trying to get the game called off by pushing through a quicky planning permission for one of his towers to be built on Wembley turf.

On a positive note for Boreham Wood at least they get to have a 'disgruntled Arsenal fans' Derby with Barnet next season.

Well done Tranmere, pleased for you.

Let us hope Tranmerewhite will never darken our doors again. Him and ChrisFGR will hit it off famously.

Yeah really. I mean he looked better in the conference for us, but I still thought he had enough in him to stay with us in L2. He got off to a good start but I think the step up in quality caught up with him really quick like, and he used to go missing for large chunks of the game/seemingly switch off completely.

Dickie Dosh was a big fan of his, and he once said letting him go was the hardest decision he had to make druing his time here.
