You’re right. Fylde won’t be that high. Can’t see much else wrong though.

Not only is this league very southern but it is extraordinarily alphabetically biased!

I know nothing about the Harrogate team, or indeed most of the other teams now in this league.
I'll be interested to see your prediction (might even copy it before the season starts ;) ).

There's half a dozen teams that Harrogate have a significantly better squad then on paper . . beyond that, it's seems near impossible to predict the order. I've got a 50 quid bet with a mate that Harrogate will finish top 12 so I am hopeful. .
We play you early on at Home. Can't wait!

Harrogate will not struggle, a pretty good team with a good manager,
Love it or hate it but the plastic pitch will give them a good home record.
Top half for them.

Is that the same good manager that Harrogate fans said had been holding them back for years?

On paper it's a Conference North squad. I imagine there's a few unknowns in there that are decent though.

I'm a bit gutted its so early in the season, my son is at Leeds uni so I was hoping we could get to the game as part of a trip up to visit him.

An early game will suit you, we aren't looking great in pre season

Don’t worry, your reigning Vanarama National League Prediction Table Champion is here!

I’m not as in touch with the teams as I was last season.

Not mentioning everyone but if Salford don’t win the league then it’ll be the biggest underachievement since Eastleigh.

Edinburgh and Allen will see Orient and Chesterfield be in the PO’s (not that it takes much when you can finish in 7th). Sensible appointment by Chesterfield, who seem solid rather than spectacular, learning from Orient’s stupid one last season.

Solihull had a bit of a great escape last season but not this one IMO, Barrow look like they’ve resorted to signing players who are questionable at this level after the Chairman’s seemingly got bored. Put Gateshead down there because they’ve not had the best of pre-seasons off the pitch and I couldn’t really choose between the 3 above them.

BW will mis Andrade’s goal, will they keep Ferrier? Dover always seem to do the same thing and leave signings to last minute but end up doing well, Wrexham’s defence looks about the same(?) but have lost Wedgebury and don’t look as though they have enough goals in them again.

Peter Taylor tactics and negativity will bore Dagenham to tears although it’ll see them safe.

Dunno why Ebbsfleet are there. I suppose it’s a reflection on how poor the league is but they’ll be top 7 again.

As usual, mid-table will be fluid from game to game with few points between them all.

Our great escape was remarkable, but bear in mind that we changed our squad almost entirely as we got through 2 manager s and two teams of short term players before December. When's we brought in the new management we also brought in 7 players and some loans. this team managed the 4th best form over the last 20 games of last season, and with a couple of additions is still the core of the team for the coming season, we got toked by Kiddy in our last pre season game but won the other 5.
In short, no one has heard of us but we aren't as much the relegation fodder as many here believe.

That's fair enough, I must admit I know very little about Solihull whereas I know a bit more about the majority of the sides in the league, hence why I didn't predict you guys favourably! Cracking second half to the season last term, but I question will the high turnover of players AND managers over the last year or so eventually catch up with you?

We seem to be the overall favourites for the drop then!
Our forum predictions range wildly from play-offs to relegation spots, based solely on a few friendlies - my own assessment is that there are some good players but some obvious limitations.
I think we'll stay up, but it's gonna require a huge team effort and probably some successful loan signings during the season.

Yeah could be a problem with Mark Yates leaving, but continuity with Flowers and all of the squad assembled since he took over.
We had 4 keepers last season but Max OLeary was head and shoulders the best and will be missed. Otherwise it's a settled squad
Daly, Carline and Carter the only players who were part of the teams under McDonald and Money before Yates and are very much good enough for NL. Reckord Williams, Storer, the return of the excellent Osborne, Yussuf, Thomas a fit again Hytlon have been added to a little to over the summer but not much. So we have a small squad but the core of that was the same as those that were 4th in the form table in 2018, I'm not calling us world beaters but the pessimism from our shaky team and management of 2017 is very much in the past (from my own and most fans perspective anyway)
So in summary we already paid the price for the turnover in players and managers, since Marcus left there were some poor choices and risky strategies that cost us and could have got us relegated, but the investments needed to the ground were made and the leadership since Decembers from boardroom to dressing room has been excellent.

I'll alter my prediction to have Salford winning it, with the mighty shagging town coming 2nd.

Our floodlights are still the biggest.
