It won't go quite that low, we're talking the Springfield End right? I can't imagine that holds 1,000.
Yep Springfield End.
From what i been told in that past that terrace/bus shelter holds 700ish. Then you have to imagine building work, fencing etc etc would mean very few people could stand behind the goal....so 2000-2200 would be the likely number.

No terracing and no cover = away fans having it proper basic ;)

Scott Davies officially announced tonight that he's left the club. Balls.

5 clubs in this league have offered him a deal, I thought for sure it would be Hemel (given the regularity that Brennan and Maynard were at our matches) but he tweeted me ruling that out.

Maidenhead, Oxford City, St. Albans, Chelmsford and Margate if I was to guess.

With the money men gone, i think the days of Margate signing ''top'' players are over.

Nikki Bull may have some pull though, they're mates and played together at Aldershot. We'll see... with Louis, Ball and Davies gone - GB should have a hefty amount to work with (by our standards) to bring in replacements.

An American fan has made a last minute decision to book a flight over for the game. Lands at 9am Saturday and flies back at 11am on Sunday. £1,100. Fuck.

Fuck and there's me moaning about travelling to Maidenhead for a 6 quid return train ticket for home games...

Really though, that's proper loyalty from that fan. Good on him

Not as extreme as coming from America....but we got a fan who flys down from Scotland for every home game.

That's quality. Must cost a bomb over the course of the season!

The Yank doesn't come over as much as he'd like, unfortunately. There is an Italian guy who comes over over 10 times a season though. Did about 30 games one season.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him turn up at ours either, he's followed Waddock about a bit and is still plenty good enough for the NL and he is just what we were missing last year.

For whoever doesn't win on Saturday, it's going to cost you an extra quid to get into the Vale next season. Adult admission prices are £13 from next season.

£199 for an earlybird adult season ticket, £10 for under 18s with those under 12 getting a free ST if accompanied by an adult. Plenty of discussion on the pricing on Stonesnet, namely that all under 12s at least should be let in free, regardless of being with an adult or not.

Gordon Bartlett has been given a modest increase on the budget from last season.

£199 for an early bird ticket? Even before the season just gone, our full price was never more than £185 for adults. Great prices for kids, but killer those for an adult.

Our (final) early bird offer ends on Satuday night. So far we've sold 842

Shouldn't have to at all next season, we have been 'recommended' to return home...if we didn't have the grading for Southern of Isthmian leagues yet it will become more of a joke than it already is tbh.

Don't expect us back here for a while, as the clueless FA have bung us in the Southern Premier over Havant/Waterlooville. If we are somehow groundsharing at Maidenhead next season then we're going to be heading right down the sinkhole once again, cos we have to pay over a grand to play there each game let alone the milage we'll have to travel for away games...attracting no decent players and the cost of travel....Southern Division 1 Central here we come!!!!!!

In 4 years we go from playing Luton, Grimsby, Forest Green, Wrexham etc etc to playing Kings Langley and Stratford Town:doh::brill:

Horrific that. Hope it works out.

Going from playing Wrexham to Maidstone was bad enough. ;)

Hope it does aswell. If we don't move into the new ground for 2016/17 we are in severe danger of going into freefall I reckon...here's hoping we're alright tho.

Good luck in your play offs this weekend, I'm predicting its gonna be tight but you'll edge it 2-1 scoring a late goal. Maidstone will go up next season.

I hope it works out for you mate. Speak to a couple of Hayes fans and they're sound.

So, so nervous.

Been watching since about ten minutes left in normal time, ref has been in Fleet's pocket the whole time and the penalty was a joke.

Did one of the players kick the ground when he tried to kick the ball on that goal? :fl:

Marvellous attempt at reffing out Maidstone. The National League clearly don't want their 3G pitch in the highest level of Non-League football.
