I think the ground holds enough so that more or less everyone who wants to go, can do so. The restrictions are what I have an issue with since you'll be left with unsold tickets and people at home who'd rather be at the game.

If it wasn't so OTT we'd sell out the home ends. Over a thousand sold today I believe. Double figures are Stones I'd guess. Some of yours were turned away though.

You have some right morons on Twitter.

Im going down tomoz to try and get a ticket in the away end, but i aint getting my hopes up.

Still dont get how old Varney claims that big terrace only holds 750...you could fit atleast another 300-400 in there. Last October when we took 700 the terrace had loads of empty space

Truth. I avoid our forum and Twitter circles for that very reason.

One guy asking to move it to Wembley because you've not been given enough! Made me laugh anyway.

With regards to the away terrace, I spoke to Dave Archer at the Club and apparently the safety officers restricted it to 750 at the start of the season. That's why you only got 800 earlier in the season I'm guessing!

Without making it sound tit-for-tat, if the boot was on the other foot I reckon we'd only have been given the 600 you're legally entitled to. If we give you part of the terrace that'll mean further segregation which will lower the capacity further. It's not an ideal situation but it is what it is.

Well to be fair you probably don't have 600 season ticket holders, and we'd expect to sell out the ground regardless, so there's somewhat of a difference. That said, it's really impossible to satisfy everyone with this. I wonder how many would go to the game if it were at Priestfield :p

A quiz to buy tickets for the home end. Incredible.

No, but having taken 2,000+ to Farnborough for the play-off final in 2011, I'm pretty sure we could take a thousand to Maidstone should that be the allocation.

As I said, if we segregated the covered terrace then it would lower the capacity a little more. There's no reason why we can't sell out, so we have no reason to give you more than one stand. The only thing that will stop it selling out is this pointless grilling when going to buy a ticket... still, over a thousand sold so can't all be bad.

Probably looking at about 6k if it was at Priestfield I'd imagine. Might get a few interested Gills fans pop along too.

A woman was getting tickets for her husband who's been going 30 years as he couldn't get down there, but because she didn't know any answers, she didn't get a ticket!

What was her quiz team name?

I wonder what the crowd for the National North play-off final will be in comparison?!

Popping down to get 5 more tickets later. Two years today since Dover beat us :( 8 years since we won the Trophy!

What say we just have Fleet and ourselves go up at the expense of the two Mickey Mousers in the Northern final eh? ;)

Whichever Kent side doesn't make it this year will win the league next season in my opinion.

I'm only messing. You two on here seem alright, I guess. ;)

Picked up another five today. Probably looking at about 1,650 or so, so far. Should be near enough 2k by tonight with the other thousand (just over going tomorrow and Thursday). You lot will have yours sold by end of tonight I'm guessing?

They go on sale at 6, people have already been queuing up outside for hours... I'll be the kind who makes a trip to Northfleet if you folks have any left.

If they all sell out quick I imagine you won't be the only one who comes down this way.

The game will be near capacity/sold out I imagine. Can't see it being anything under 3,700 that's for sure.

When i rung up the club earlier (about 1pm) they told me people were already queuing....now people who went down there are saying different. So either the club decided to sell them earlier or they just got bored and wandered off

I'm just about to head down myself...so should be interestiing to see whats going on.

Somebody picked up ticket number 1,952 an hour ago apparently. If that's how many had been sold at that point that's ridiculous as it was 1,590 when I picked up an hour before that.

So given that the capacity is 3,800 that's 20% given to Maidstone. Pretty generous I'd say!

Just seen that news has broken on Nomads about the monthly figure Truro's owner has been putting into the club. I was told that figure by TISA's chairman on the final day, sounds astronomical on the surface but not all that surprising. 6-7k a week for players who live as far away as Bristol and travel down for training twice a week.

I also forgot to mention that Jefferson Louis and Matt Ball won't be with us next season as both have been released. Scott Davies will likely be out too which I'm disappointed about. Incredibly frustrating player but far too good for this level and our only creative outlet.

Expecting a load to be heading over to Northfleet tomorrow.

We can't be blamed for lack of allocation.

I hope you got one. Obviously not being ageist here, but going by pictures there looked a lot of OAPs queuing! Could see your vocal support suffer a little!

None for me, couldn't get out of work early enough. I'll probably head to your place tomorrow if there's any still going.

I saw those pictures too - almost made me feel young :hypo:
