A bit more on last night.

Whitehawk fans are still absolute bellends. "Sexism, we say no" - what is that all about? Any normal person is anti Sexism/racism/homophobia, no reason to sing about it for 90 fucking minutes. They were pretty loud to be fair to them but they had about 6 drums, a tambourine and God knows what else. "We have more fun than you" is another song I cringed at. Then I see a tweet from one of their fans saying they couldn't give a toss about the result because they had a good night! Fuck right off.

The game. Meh. It was OK. First 20 minutes we were awful. Surprisingly, we set up defensively leaving John Paul Kissock and Jordan Parkes out. We also left out captain Tom Bonner which came as a surprise. All Acheampong does is HOOOOOOOOOF. We couldn't get out of our half, but we grew. Great movement for the first goal, Stuart Lewis actually scored!!

Second goal was just a bullet free kick from Kedwell which the keeper could only palm into his net. He's been trying them all season so it's good to see one pay off.

Should have gone on to get a third but Danny Mills pulled one back from them after a smart save from Ashmore to deny Sergio Torres.

1,055 crowd with 319 of us. Respectable I'd say.

It's all to play for in the second leg but I really hope we treat their fans like we were treated. Chucked in that temp stand that's about to fall down with no beer facilities and just four portaloos.

Chances are though, if we do segregate then they will be given enough to house 800, a burger van that won't run out of food/drink, decent toilets and a stall where they can buy beer.

Roll on Sunday.

If you pull them up on it, you then become sexist apparently. They're just wrong on so many levels.

As predicted, Sundays second leg is segregated. They will have the whole of the Swanscombe End (holds a little under a thousand), and they'll have a mobile bar. Glad we've not been petty and done what they did to us.

How was last night? Good win for you lot. Can relax a little in the second leg. Ours is far from over. We need to get the first goal.

I didn't go along Joe, toooo far for a Wednesday night plus I went to the league game a couple of weeks back. I shall be there on Sunday though!

As for relaxing, I don't think so. I'd be pissed if we did that. Having an eye on the final is a surefire way of getting turned over.

How many did you have down? Ridiculously long way to go on a Wednesday night. I'd hazard a guess and say we would only have had around 100 or so had it been us.

Not relaxing as in sitting back and letting them attack, I should have worded it better. Basically, you're not in as much need as us to get the first goal of the game! ;)

200 according to our forums, pretty good all things considered!

That is true. For the most part this season, 1-0 was our token scoreline - naturally I'll take that. We don't give up many goals, and barring a complete choke job, I don't see Truro coming here and scoring three times.

Very good that. Fair play.

Yeah, I can't imagine them scoring three but you never know I guess! We need the first goal in our game. We set up defensively last night, we need to make changes and make sure we take the game to them.

Short highlights from last night.

Looking back on it, Ashmore could possibly have palmed Torres' effort out a bit further. Hard to say if their keeper could have done better with the free kick as it was struck with some force! Wall should have stood firm. Fantastic save to deny Cook though, which I said at the time.

I didnt go in the end
My friend who was gonna drive changed his mind at the last min.....so i just had to settle for listening online.

As for the game, its gonna take an epic choke job to fuck this up. Also Truro's best player (Vassell) is set to miss the second leg which is a plus.

That's not Kyle Vassell is it? Ex Stortford?

^^^^ Ashmore should definitely have done better.

As for the Ultras, right values but entirely self-righteous. Given how sanctimonious some of Lewes' supporters are, is there something in the water down Brighton way?

Pimms mostly, in my experience.

Yeah, have watched it again and I agree. He had a solid game bar that. Everything that went into the box he claimed, no matter how much pressure he was put under.

Of course the values are right. I'm pretty sure anybody with half a brain cell will agree, but is there a need to sing about it for 90 minutes every game? I don't think so.

I still can't get over the "don't care about the result, we had fun" comment. I'd have been absolutely screwing if we lost.

Yourselves and Sutton were the only sides to genuinely make us look bad this season, I'm pretty sure if we play you and you show up, you'll win.

Our home performance this season have been a little worrying at times! I know it's a one-off game and all that, but we went into the final against Dover in reasonably good form and froze.

Let's just get Sunday out the way first. I'm still not 100% confident that we will go through.

Im dreading a potential final against Ebbsfleet

Would be a right bitch trying to get a ticket. Even as a season ticket holder it wouldnt guarantee a ticket

You'd probably be given the same allocation as the game earlier in the season. Sucks for you really, but we'd sell out the home end so we can't really give out more!

If we were wankers, we could always give you 10% of the capacity! ;)

Should Ebbsfleet be hosting the final I take it I'll be able to roll along and get a ticket on the day? Would the same also apply to Maidstone should it be Maidstone -$hitehawk?

You wouldn't be able to get a ticket on the day at Maidstone. Ebbsfleet more likely as the ground is significantly bigger than the Stones.

If it's Ebbsfleet-Maidstone, or Maidstone-Whitehawk, don't bother on the day. Ebbsfleet-Truro or Truro-Whitehawk, sure.

IIRC when we did advanced tickets sales for the Dover game we didn't actually sell too many. Most people paid on the day, although I believe the capacity could actually be just below 4,000 currently whereas it was just about before.

I'm guessing it'd be worth giving it a go.

That tweet I mentioned. The guy is sticking by it. He's just "happy to be in the play offs"

Fuck right off. If you're in the play offs you go in to win them.

If it's a Fleet v Stones final I've heard a couple of rumours. One was we will give them 1,600 and the other was we will give them the legal 10% they're allowed plus a little more.

10% would mean segregating the away end and having it half and half. Not sure that'll be right, but my guess is it'd be the same as what they got before.

1,600?! I can't see that being true.

Yeah, I'm not sure I believe that. As I said, legally we *I believe* only have to give you 10% which is around 400. That would mean splitting the away end. No chance. You'll get the away end which is, I believe, anything between 800 and a thousand. Don't actually know an official figure. Would be disappointed if we gave away part of the home ends, if I'm honest.

Swanscombe End will be fine on its own, should it come to that. Yes it would mean some of our season ticket holders couldn't go (in our end), but it's better than the alternative of 400, and I think 1,600 would be too many.
