We beat Billericay on Saturday. We have Boreham fucking Wood away tonight. Definitely not going. Anybody who goes there for pre season needs their head examining.

We finish up against Braintree at home on Saturday. One of the most uninspiring pre season schedule I remember us having. 4 wins from 4 though and no injuries so far! Well, no fresh injuries.

Maidstone tickets go on sale to ST holders tomorrow. We have around 250 - 300 ST'S I believe and it's 1 per ticket. Can't see them all going, but those that aren't going will probably lend their ST out so most will be gone. At most I reckon they'll be 30-50 left and a free-for-all to get them.

Saw us draw 0-0 with Welling on Saturday. Not the greatest of games, but we looked capable for the most part. The 3G pitch looked great, actually forgot it wasn't real grass during the match.

Filthy bobbin scum away tonight to open their 3G pitch. Their 3G woes amuse me. For all that is good and wholesome we need to win. However we'll be playing a fringe team, so we have a ready made excuse.

We've been saying this for a while now!

I'll back up that statement too having been to Bedworth and seen their 3G pitch.

Our pre-season - we haven't seen our true first team squad once yet and we can't score any goals. Typical Wealdstone pre-season tbh.

Parkes, Kissock and Wilmott are already looking immense signings. Of course pre season games against shite like Billericay and Welling isn't the best judge, but they're all proven in non league.

About 80 left of the 250 that went on sale to our (246) season ticket holders. On sale today until 5 to ST holders who couldn't make it on Wednesday and then the rest will go on sale at our game on Saturday.

A better look at our kits for this season. Having initially voiced my disapproval of them, I've now taken a liking to them. They look smart.

Having seen ours in person, I'm a huge fan - especially the yellow away one. Will be purchasing that at some point. Will probably buy the home one too, but definitely prefer the yellow one.

Lost 1-0 to Braintree in our last PSF. Played fairly well at times, looking forward to the season now. Kicking off against Basingstoke next week. This is how I think we will line up:

Signed Haynes yesterday so he adds to an already impressive strike force.

A lot of people didn't bother trying to get Maidstone tickets because they thought they had no chance (and the fact it was £11 to get in yesterday!) Of getting one so we actually have about 20 tickets left! Should be no problems selling them though.

Bad planning really has made a mess of this fixture. We've taken more than 250 to longer journeys than Maidstone!

Signed off pre-season by winning the Isthmian Charity Shield courtesy of a comfortable 4-0 victory over Hendon. Doubt we'll be seeing any more silverware for a while.

Rumours circulating yesterday that the extension to the main stand won't be finished in time for the Ebbsfleet game, which I'm sure will go down well with all the season ticket holders and Ebbsfleet fans who have tickets in there come next Tuesday.

Well we defeated a QPR XI 3-1 yesterday afternoon - Shaun Lucien, Connor Calcutt and Jonny Wright with the goals. Hopefully we can sign Calcutt before next Saturday, speaking of which...

Away at Bath City (yessssss!) next Saturday. Captain Wes Parker, Matt Ball and Jefferson Louis are suspended whilst Jonathan North and Dale Binns picked up knocks yesterday and will be doubts for next week. On top of that we have no outright Right Back either for a couple of (tinpot) reasons.

Gordon Bartlett has penned a new 2 year deal with the club. He's been managing us for 20 years now so 2 more will be minimal.

We've signed Miguel Baptista, a midfielder from UD Valonguense who are a lower league Portuguese side. He has been on trial with us for most of pre-season. I haven't seen any of our friendlies, but most of our fans feedback on him has been very positive.

Why's that? Something going on we don't know about?

Just don't feel 'connected' to the Club anymore really. And being here for a third season is really not doing me any favours.

Just don't feel it like I used to, unfortunately. I will still go whenever I am off work, but it just feels more like a chore than a pleasure.

As I said, I hope it comes back. I really do.
