The collar is weird but yeah, I kinda like the rest.

Looks like we begin with a trip to Sutton, followed by a visit from the Fleet. Interesting start!

If segregated, how many do you think we will be allocated mate?

Dartford, Maidstone and St Albans all away in April, cannot complain at that at all. Concord over Christmas is a bit meh, as is Basingstoke to kick off. But it's a chance to get off on the right foot.

Missing Margate away as I'll be in Belgrade, but I'm sure I'll get over it!

Bring on the new season!

We segregated Margate towards then end of last season, and they were given 500 tickets. I'd expect that should ground works be finished, you'd get a similar number.

I saw the FA Cup game last season from your place and there looked like plenty of space to build additional stands, or expand what is there already. What is the current capacity and what do you expect it to go up to once the current work is finished? Are there any plans to expand further, should you get promoted again?

Before the works started this summer, capacity was 2,226. You could cram up to 3,000 in, but the number is restricted by the amount of exits. I believe as well as extending the main stand, we're also building more turnstiles so that may help raise capacity in of itself, though I believe they said capacity would be just shy of 3,000 when it's done, so perhaps not.

Regarding future work, plans are already in place to expand/rebuild the two ends behind the goals, we just need the funding as well as the league status to make it worthwhile. The side by the dugouts has a water main underneath, hence why it's mostly undeveloped - we can pay to have it rerouted and build something small there, but it's cost prohibitive for now, and that would be the last of the sides to see work done. Should all ends be redeveloped capacity would be somewhere close to 7,000 I believe the club said,

After the main stand extension the ground should hold just over 3000 with future plans to expand upto 6-7000

I'd like to think we won't be segregated at Maidstone now it's a Tuesday night match.

Hemel over Christmas/New Years certainly will be however.

Basingstoke for our festive games? Christmas is ruined!

Maidstone at home and Havant and Dartford away in our first 3 games. Not the easiest of starts

We open up with Maidenhead at home, which makes a change as we always seem to be away on the opening day. Will be a tough game as Devonshire looks to be building a decent side at Maidenhead.

Whitehawk is unsurprisingly our festive game once again, which puts a dampner on Christmas.

I'd imagine we will sell the 500, should be plenty of interest. The recent games with Dartford haven't been segregated, although being bank holiday I'd imagine it may be at their gaff. I'd like to think so anyway.

Indeed, we're only down the road and it's a new place for you - I'd think you'll shift those no problem! Nice local derby under the lights, excellent.

Likewise, although I just know Johnson will score a screamer against us.

Unfortunately our ground is nowhere near Eastbourne station, however it's about 20 minutes from Pevensey and Westham if you don't mind a bit of a walk. Just turn left from the station and walk up past the Mercedes garage and you should arrive at a roundabout, turn left onto Priory Road, then it's about a quarter of a mile on the left hand side.

From Pevensey and Westham, is it still mainly a country walk to the ground (including sections with no streetlight or pedestrian bits)?

The very same Jared. To be fair the floodlights can be seen from the train station so just follow the road towards it.

I liked Eastbourne's ground, cover on all 4 sides and a spacious bar.

Thanks to Silver Stone and Raymondo316. It sounds like your Board have a sensible plan in place to expand facilities and the ground as you move upwards. I'm not sure what your ultimate goal is, though I suspect it might be promotion to the Football League, but it does seem like it is being well planned with affordability and sustainability being the key. I expect we may meet in the league the season after next, we are getting used to making trips to Kent, I shall keep an eye on your progress!

Jason Brown has left to take up a coaching role at Gillingham

Good for him. Always rated him.

The fact we have the two Kent Clubs away so early in the season is making me look forward to this campaign even more. I just hope getting a ticket for Maidstone will be simple enough. Our lads are in Portugal at the moment on a training camp. Certainly being put through their paces!

Too good for Conference South. Another player signed on a two-year deal.

^ Agree with that. Would have had him back over Phil Smith this season to be honest.

Worner was excellent when we had him on loan a couple of seasons ago.

GPF Lewis have been confirmed as our main sponsors for the new season. Those on Stonesnet seem to think that the deal is worth a lot more than the previous one we had with Connect Vending (that was over 5 figures p/a). Above are our new home and away shirts for next season too. Initially I hated the pinstripes but they look alright with the sponsors logo on them.

Brilliant signing that. Fair play. Always rated him.

We played SC Farense today at the end of our weeks training camp. It was three 30 minute half's and we won 0-1 thanks to a late Jordan Parkes goal. Fitness levels really exceptional apparently which is great to hear because we looked a little lazy too often last season.

Back to England tomorrow (I think) and we play VCD away on Tuesday. That'll be different to the 35 degree heat they've been used to in Portugal I'm sure! They've been having two training sessions a day plus gym and swimming sessions. Good to see they made good use of the time and not just waste it!

Non league side going abroad for pre-season. I'm not sure if I approve.

Our owner treated the squad last season to a short trip abroad. This was purely for training and preparation purposes. I'd imagine we will do something similar every season whilst he is still around.

2 friendly results for Sutton. On Saturday we beat Winchester City 4-0 away, and on Sunday we lost 2-1 at home to Bristol Rovers. Next up is a Crystal Palace XI on Tuesday to officially open the new 3G pitch
