Sheffield Weds had stripes on the back of their shirts last season.

can't find a law but maybe common sense,

It's not been an issue for the 95 years that shirt numbers have been used in football, why should it suddenly be an issue now? Just don't use a colour of number that is difficult to make out.

Not sure, thought it was an old law as was a big fuss kicked up about it a few seasons back and Stoke for example have had plain back panels, may be only top divisions due to TV coverage?

I remember it being a UEFA thing some time back, but clearly not something that's overly enforced.

Maybe is less enforced, we've only donned stripes once for a home kit and it was plain on the back, this was 2008-10

We did have a Gold and Amber stripes one however in 2013/14

Do doesn't seem any set pattern to it.

We tried that with red numbers and you can imagine the outcry...

having quarters does make it difficult to do for us personally, but should be easy enough for the rest you you boring one colour bastards

I suspect one of the reasons we've moved to Oxen is also because of the below - not sure we've had a cycling jersey in Lincoln colours before! Be interesting to see what other outside of football Lincoln coloured things they try and introduce, if any.

That away one looks different. Not saying it’s a bad thing but it’s definitely out there. Home one is very good.

Home Carlisle one is similar to our away one last season but darker blue, the away one is right out there but looks good.

Carlisle have gone right back into the 90’s with them kits. One thing I usually like from Carlisle is good or bad at least they try something different each season and don’t just change collar or add a little red trim and then ask for another £50.

Have not been tempted on buying a shirt for a while but that away one does stand out for me.

Oh and that away kit clearly the designer was a massive fan of both the black jacks and fruit salad sweets, couldn’t decide which they liked better so whacked them together in a strip!

Oxford, like us, surely don’t need a third kit. Our colours don’t exactly clash with many clubs, two should be enough.

We need a third kit because we get very little opportunity to create revenue as we don’t own our ground.
