Fans may not like it, but it looks like having a brightly coloured away strip is in vogue with a lot of different clubs nowadays.

Our kit next season has been announced... modeled here by the lovely Christina Hendricks because the octillionaire can afford this sort of shit.

I'd leave home for her

That's very nice, though I'm not too keen on the sponsor.

All the while we still don't have any information about our kit. What a time to be alive.

Yep, we're in pretty much the same boat, except someone on our forum claims to have spoken to the chairman in the bogs at some club function or other and the home shirt will be some form of red and blue. Here's hoping because last season's Charlton-a-like was wrong on several levels.

Cambridge home kit.

I don't mind it to be honest, doesn't look like their fans do though.

Even if they had signed Lionel Messi to advertise it, there is no hiding how horrific that kit is.

Fuck me that is disgusting. They must have paid Corr a huge wedge to pretend to be happy wearing that.

Design is the same as Crawley's effort, and I was hoping it wouldn't be after I saw their shirt.

Not a replica shirt wearer so I'm not normally too bothered but that is absolutely disgusting, I'm staggered that people will part with £42 for that!

It's pretty funny, is it the winner of a kids design competition?

That Cambridge kit is making me feel so much better about ours, it's dreadful.

I can only echo in what my fellows u's(and everyone else) has said about our new kit, it's just truly awful, whoever gave the final say "corr that will do nicely" needs bloody shooting.

It's just so bad. I don't know where to start with it. I wasn't a particular fan of our "sash" in 09/10 but at least there was an attempt at style with that. The last truly shite kit we had was our barcode number in the mid 90s but I think this even tops that.

Edit: nope, in hindsight the barcode kit was better than I remember. I'm going for our late 80s/early 90s plain yellow kits as our worst. No amber was criminal but this year's effort is damn close.

I loved the barcode shirt!
Yeah I was wrong, it wasn't that bad. I remembered it as not being symmetrical but was my mind playing tricks on me.

Admittedly it's more like a cycling top than the classic stripes or even quarters that many were hoping for but I'm not offended by it. I'm not the target market but, depending on the actual colour dry and sweaty, I think it'll look OK on the pitch, with the strong contrast of black shorts and amber socks.

The key question is will Jonno be able to read the numbers.

Sadly this is the case, this was ours 2 seasons ago. Beyond horrific, mind you if you ever break down on the way to the game you have an automatic high vis top available. Likewise you could pass yourself off as a steward and get into grounds for free.

Should I really be taking fashion advice from the fashion whores on this board? No names no pack drill.

I'm pretty sure that Cambridge kit was the standard blown vinyl wallpaper in 'nitespot' locations throughout the nation pre-house music era.

Places with mega shite names like: Electric Avenue, Pink Lagoon, Vibes, Ziggy's and The Disco Suite, where your slip ons stuck to the lager soaked carpet, the women were old enough and ugly enough to be your aunts and the sound of fists raining down on your eighteen years old head was sweeter than the dogshite music.

Can I buy one online?

You should've seen our games against Forest Green the last two seasons. Seriously harmful to your eyes

Or you could even do a passable impression of a Northampton player.

That Newport shirt is really nice. The shoulders, collar, badge and even the sponsor kinda work together to make it look pleasantly retro. Liked it at first glance and it looks even better after scrolling down and seeing the Cambridge one. Blimey. Look at what you could've won.

Cambridge's is fucking vile. I quite like the Oxford one, Macron in general seem to make really nice shirts.
