I do like that Bolton home kit and the texture of the fabric

We are remaining with Macron, and rumour are we are harking back to a retro style from the 90s but a potential mix up with sponsors logos may scupper the release....

the Bolton one just makes me think of Plymouth to be honest.

That said I kind of like the idea of having a green shirt, because it’s so rare - since most clubs steer clear as it’s seen as either a goalie or ref colour.

Awful, if that pattern was just on the arms I think I’d like it but it’s way to much overkill for my liking.

It’s so bad it’s incredible haha. You can’t help but laugh at it.

You usually see those patterns on swim shorts, not a shirt.

I think Cambridge's kit designer is probably Portuguese, reminds me of those traditional blue and white tiles you see everywhere over there.

Could be Dutch, it looks a lot like some of the Delft Blue vases we've got...

This gem is from the article on our website:

“The eye-catching vibrant away shirt was initially inspired by the plethora of water lilies along the River Cam, with the imagination growing further afield to an aqua-inspired floral baroque design, which can often be seen in far-eastern pottery.”

I think our club has forgotten we’re a football club and not at Milan fashion week.

That all said, it is growing on me.

Maybe they ran out of time, panicked and just cut up someone's Nans tablecloth.

That said I quite like it. One of those that looks better on the fans than an actual kit you wear to play though.

Some nice “look! I’ve just popped a bunch of pills” tops amongst Cambridge’s pre-match wear too, they’re really going for it this season. Respect.

Umbro knocking it out of the ground this summer. Wish we'd gone with Wilmslow's finest instead of whatever is in the Puma catalogue

I like the green and gold, not certain on the pattern but I think the colours look really good together. Cambridge fans definitely not going to get lost in those, thats for sure.

Castore have messed our kit up so they don't currently know when it will be ready. Typical. Thankfully, in the last year of our contract with them.

It seems crazy how many kit supply companies seem utterly incompetent and unable to, well, y’know, supply kits.

I mean, I get that there is awkwardness around managing the big spike in demand that you get around the beginning of each new season, but the same pattern happens every year…

the contrast between the boring sponsor and the great shirt is striking. Would that Fiorentina shirt be so remembered if it didn't have the 7up logo

That sponsor brings in a lot of money so I suppose it’s worth it.

Not a kit person but I think it’s okay, hated the red one last season.

Across our various kits, it seems we've got it sewn up this season. They're all bangers, even if the away kit is for a ''so shit it's amazing'' type of reason.

Although, there is simply no excuse for needing a third kit given our colours. Away kit should literally be worn twice, or three times at a push, and that's it.

Game's gone etc etc but equally, good for the budget so crack on....
