Two attacks Bradford had, two goals. We were abysmal until 2-0 down, and then played some decent stuff. The equaliser that was ruled out seemed like the keeper spilled it in his net, but it was the far end of the pitch so hard to tell.

No idea why we started with a defensive midfielder who's been out all season playing as a second striker - poor tactics in the first-half have cost us in loads of games this season. And stupid defensive lapses. Strikers must love playing us.

In my view a deserved win for Sutton over the course of 90 minutes, although you could tell both sides seemed a bit rusty after an enforced break, and with players missing on both sides.

It was frustrating to see our defence go missing so soon after going 1-0 up to allow an equaliser. Fortunately for us, that wasn’t repeated after Rob Milsom confidentiality dispatched the penalty.

Back up to 3rd and after half our games being played we’re on 39 points. I’m happy with the first half of our season

What tune is "pissing this tinpot league" sung to, then? :D Opening goal sounded a great move and seemed to knock the fight out of Boro.

Very disappointed not to beat Oldham. Two nil nils against them, a blank against Scunny and no offence to either but they are both really poor sides.

I can't see where we'll get the next 22 points to get to 50. Where will they come from? Might be a bit negative but at this moment I think we're an outside bet for the drop.

We are a very poor team Soup, the more I see of these two in charge the more worried I'm getting, we played 3/4's of the game with two wingers upfront, despite having two strikers on the bench, they didn't even think to change it up until there was a chorus of disgruntled boos and shouts from the Town End on about 82 mins and Lee just shouted at two of the three lads warming up to come back and come on.

For me we need at least two strikers in and sharpish, Fondop must've been scattered, Olomola can't get a look in, Cook is injured again, Molyneux is a waste of time upfront, Goodwin is hopeless, there's only Cullen and I guess he was a Covid patient today?

Oldham were rotten, real stink the house down stuff but they had the best two chances, how he missed that chance at the end I'll never know.

Two defensive lapses cost us, gave Bradford their only two chances in the game and they took full advantage. I would like to see the disallowed goal again.

On a positive note we finally scored from open play.

I think we perhaps got out of jail free with that disallowed goal. Tough on you of course, but about time we had a bit of luck with a referring decision.

Brady says after the game the first time the team trained together was yesterday. Writing today off as a blip, but need to get back on the horse against Crawley.

That's exactly the reason I'm glad we are playing in the cup next week before our next league game against Swindon. Good chance to build up some match fitness there than in what should be a very important league game.

Yeah exactly. You’ll be miles off it in the cup but will do you the world of good. Same with Swindon, crap against Stevenage by all accounts but back at it today.

3-1 to Crawley at the end. We saw off the expected good start to the second half after the rocket their manager probably gave them and nabbed a decent third . Cruise control, looking to add a fourth then with fifteen minutes to go we took our foot of the gas and stood and watched Colchester play it around. We were lucky to only concede one.

Could be the after effects of covid but Colchester would have the same excuse too.

We won and won well so I get a happy start to the 2022.

Just a quick shout out for the ref. Tried to keep the game going but wasn't afraid to go back and give a free kick if the advantage didn't work out. He should have booked Sears for a prat fall in the penalty area...booked him for panto it was so over acted.

We were wretched, we really were. Today must rank among the worst displays of firward play that I've ever seen from two Football League sides. We were lucky insomuch that Oldham somehow conspired to miss even easier sitters than we did. They were awful, we were awful, not much more to say really.

We have the worst away record in the division. Three of the next four league games are away from home, two of them against sides below us in the table. Not looking forward to those at all.

In control for most of game, but Stevenage played extremely well to keep out lots of reasonable chances. They showed good discipline and despite going behind put on plenty of pressure from there on, and it was no easy task to keep them out. A good test around for us. We were rusty, and should be better for this, lots of games to play coming up, so hopefully the few that are missing will be back soon. Nice for Josh March to get a goal while standing in for Matty Stevens. As ever Wilson was class.

If we are as rusty as Northampton sound today next week might be double figures against a top flight outfit!

Massive 3 points. Vital, huge.

Got to feel a bit for Scunthorpe though. They are clearly a much better team than us, they’ve showed it in both games, yet we’ve taken 4 points. Very fortunate today but we take it, big improvements needed however.

This could pretty much describe 90% of our matches this season, it’s such a hard watch. We are proper toss, but then everyone else seems to be too. Swindon, Vale and Orient remain the only competent teams I’ve seen. And worse than that, the football is so turgid. It really is a slog down at the bottom at this level.

What’s the crack with Bahamboula, they wrapping him in cotton wool for a January sale? How’s he not starting?

That fat lad at centre half and number 22? both looked like they’d won a raffle to play a first team game.

Wasn’t there today due to having to isolate, but think you’ve hit the nail on the head there with the nil nils vs Oldham and Scunny. Games we simply must be winning.

January and if Raj puts his hands in his pocket is going to be massive for deciding whether we drop right down there. Especially now Burey has just been recalled by Milwall!!

Bahamboula has been crap for a while now but is our only creative outlet and should be starting. He, along with our young lads Couto and Vaughan are our best and most saleable assets. All 3 have sat on the bench in our last two games so can only assume they’re all on their way.

22 is Diarra - one of the owners’ picks, bloody awful along with 99% of their signings.

Cheers for clearing up. At least you won't feel hard done by now then?

Only got ourselves to blame for the goals we gave away. Our play probably merited a point but we all know our frailties are putting the ball in the net.

Out of those in the bottom I think Colchester and Stevenage would be the strongest coming down and more likely to go back up. Scunthorpe = play offs. Oldham =mid table

I said earlier that today's games would be a lottery. None of us are privy to in camp situations and our manager said post match that some of our players should not have been playing. I suspect that has been the situation with every team and those of us that have managed to get points are breathing a sigh of relief.

Oldham were complete cack they reminded me of bottom end NL dross. As were Scunny yet we've failed to even score let alone beat either of them which shows we're not that far off and if the cheque book isn't got out we will sleepwalk back to that godforsaken league never to be seen again.

I'd love that Bahamboula but he's probably out of our league. 2 forwards a must and a physical CM. I don't think that 'the wolfpack' (cringe) are anywhere as effective up here than they were in the NL.

Aye jury massively out on Lee and Nelse. Is it just me but I can't listen or watch their interviews? They don't interview well must be said.

Terrible game between two poor sides today. Difference in the end was we took our chances and Barrow didn't which makes a nice change.

No it’s a difficult watch, even with Chandy throwing softball questions I just skip through the video, on one hand you don’t have to listen to ‘Football Manager’ talk were they knock out a load of jargon shite but Lee ends up sounding like a bloke who was a spectator at the match and not the person in charge of it all, I’m sure at one point the pair of them talked about positives from the recent Scunny game, which was probably the dullest most turgid display of footy The Vic had seen.

That has been our problem most of the season.

Because of injuries, strikers Angol and Cook have only started together 4 times this season. In those 4 games we have won 3 and drawn the other with Angol and Cook scoring 7 between them in those 4 games. Very clear to see our lack of decent cover up front has held us back.

Good luck for the rest of the season. Oh, and can we have Robbie Gotts please
