Good game of football today I thought. Wrexham looked a lot better than the away fixture even with ten men.
Thought the ref got the big decisions right, both penalties, the red card and the goal over the line, the linesman let him down there.
Fair play to us, we couldn't fill he bench and we started three players we wouldn't have with a full squad.
Thought the Wrexham fans were great apart from throwing coins or something at the linesman.
We're looking pretty hard to beat at the moment playing some decent football along the way. Should go close if we keep the form up.

I thought that was Francis’ best game in a Notts shirt by miles, looked much sharper and got about the pitch more and we know he’s got a good ping with that left foot. Deserved man of the match for me.

A loss is almost guaranteed tomorrow especially given the fact the man tasked with motivating our team thinks we’re going to lose
I saw that article from Hurst and it was very bizarre. I suspect he’s trying to big us up to take the pressure off you (or more importantly himself)

Parkinson’s ‘yes my man clearly handled it on the line but shouldn’t have been sent off’ line is brilliant. I mean I don’t really like that rule either, but that is just how it works Phil.

He’s been doing it for years, it’s nothing new and we invariably lose when he does it

This has been our best Christmas period on years, unbeaten and remained lutside the relegation zone.

Poor Dover, you have to feel sorry for their 70 odd who made the journey to see them beaten again. The team with the quality won this, the last 3 we haven’t been setting the world alight but you don’t have to at this level against crap sides.

I still don’t think we have the defenders that play in-front of the best keeper in this league to make play offs, bailed out far too often by Justham and even against Dover he saved 3 certain goals. We might end up scoring 80+ goals and probably won’t end up top 7 which would be criminal.

As well as having at best a passing acquaintance with the laws of the game, he appears to be making an early entry in the 2022 ‘Best James Rowe Impression’ contest.

Great day to be a Notts fan really. Good gate, proper atmosphere, big win against a big-spending promotion rival. They don’t come around very often in lower league football, so got to enjoy them when they do.

Feared we’d fucked it at 0-1, but game completely changed five minutes later. From then I felt there would only be one winner really, we knock it around pretty well at times and I knew we’d get chances against 10 men. Even if Mullin had scored the pen I’d have fancied us to nick a winner, but Patterson showed why he’s an upgrade on Slocombe with a fine save. Speaking of upgrades, Richardson at RWB on loan from our dear neighbours is a considerable one on Kelly-Evans, was superb 2nd half, deserved his (controversial, looked into me tho) goal and would have had another but for a tremendous goal line clearance, the rebound from which Eli Sam inexplicably failed to convert.

Hard lines for Wrexham, difficult to know what would have happened at 11 v 11, but clearly it would have been a much closer game imo. Unbelievable support though, 2,000 away in the middle of a pandemic is incredible at any level, let alone non-league. Glad we’ve got them out the way for the season.

23 points from our last 10 games, Dover away next for the inevitable home win..

Unbelievable afternoon - couldn’t have written that. Proper derby and a great advert for the National League. Absolute scenes in the away end for that winner, I’d say we probably deserved it just about, despite being poor first half. Some very questionable refereeing, both penalties were dodgy but I think the ref wanted to even it up.

Some huge performances from our lot - Sylla, JBA, Andrew’s and Jordan were excellent.

Also great moment when Casey went over to take a throw and couldn’t get the ball back from our fans, then didn’t fancy taking throw ins for the rest of the half in front of our fans and gave them all to Diarra instead.

Was at our game at Yeovil today and for the second consecutive game got absolutely soaked. We had Little susupended, Lapslie injured and Sparkes out with Covid. Must admit most would have taken a point at the start. A fairly even game with the keepers not having many efforts on goal. I thought eovil were poor today and their keeper let a corner in. All set up for a Garytime goal against his old club.

Terrific number and noise from from us......

All in all, it's a bit hard to take that result after the officials performed as poorly as they did and killed the game. I don't think Notts County were particularly impressive and they shouldn't get carried away by that result, but I'm sure that won't stop them as I'd probably be going off, saying we're winning the league if we'd won the game under similar circumstances.

I don't think you've given the officials enough credit here.

What killed the game was your man handling it on the line. I don’t understand what Wrexham think the ref should’ve done? Ignore the laws of the game because it was early on?

I said earlier it was a penalty and red card, but the lad who put the ball in was offside.

Just go off whatever's convenient for you though.

We’ll see on the replay I guess, but as Parkinson said he’d watched the incident back repeatedly and didn’t once mention it being offside, instead going down the ‘handball on the line isn’t actually a red card’ route, I reckon it might just prove to be onside.

If it wasn't offside the player who kept him on should be sacked as the offside line was very high up. Clearly still pissed from NYE.

Cracking game all round, if Wrexham had scored the penalty Notts would have still won by a couple at least, five or six would not have been unjust.

Not from the Notts side to be fair, just seems some Wrexham are having trouble accepting the result, led by moaner in chief Parky

It was a tight game, very frustrating to lose to an offside goal in the last minute but them's the breaks

Thinking about it maybe Notts should have just forfeited the game when Wrexham so unjustly went to ten men, especially in front of nearly two thousand (in stead of the usual two hundred) who travelled from their sleepy hamlet in Wales

It's a good thing you got Wrexham at the start of the month. By the end of it having to try and contain Mbappe. De Bruyne and Lewendowski will be such a nightmare for us mere mortals :D

Fuck sake where have you come from? so if we'd have scored you'd would have scored six goals? not sure I follow your logic there. Did you just decide to go easy on us because the pen was saved?

Maidenhead and County Away and Yeovil at home. In each of these games we've had an early red card and they are 3 of our 5 losses this season. Im sensing a pattern.

The Lino on that side was winging it in the second half as he couldn’t keep up with the play. This is where the highlights will show our disallowed goal for offside to be onside and the given goal to be offside!

No idea what game your manager was watching saying you were the better side for 75 minutes, would say that up until your goal, which was fantastic, it was pretty even.

Gary time returns, 4 wins from 5, Onwards!

Two things I take from this.... Parkinson must really like our main stand as he can't stop looking at it and how do you get a wii remote to be a microphone?
