Folk from Nottingham attempting to promote that popular six-fingered, knuckle-dragging, sister-humping inferiority complex, yet suggest that the roles are actually reversed, encapsulated right there.

Bless.

My word, you're so weird.

The manager who has us 4 unbeaten in the league and the manager who we've won 6 out of our last 7 home games under?

Ok.
Yep. Because I've now seen he has no plan B. Allen will come up with a solution to plan A and frustrate the hell out of you.

That's a lot harder to do on our massive pitch than on a field in Manchester, though.

Maybe, but it's exactly what he did to Oxford

Salford is part of Manchester as far as I'm concerned

My word, you're so weird.

From you my friend that is quite a claim.

I've just put on the Stagsnet site that it's so obvious that Moniz is the problem at Notts. A motivator would get the talent in that squad promoted with plenty to spare, I'm sure of it.

Interesting that Moniz believes that he needs more players in January, I'd suggest that they need one less manager. Replacing the current incumbent with one that can inspire some togetherness and heart, because whilst he is at the helm it is benefiting every other team with promotional aspirations.

Notts still have time to rescue their season and march up the table, but Trew needs to act now, not later.

His plan worked so well he conceded twice, let us hit the post, relied on our best player mis-kicking with an open goal two yards away and our winger missing a one-on-one.

The game was won between your attack and our awful defending.

We had a player brought down in the box and no pen given, a one on one with the keeper we didn't convert and you had a player wipe our left back out off the ball who should've seen red. We broke you down and shut up shop.

Salford and Manchester are separate cities, separated by the Irwell (about 10 mins from my flat). However, Salford is part of greater Manchester.
Greater Manchester yes.
Manchester no.

So part of Greater Manchester like Wimbledon and Barnet play in Greater London. Only most don't bother with the Greater prefix.

The irony is Salford are as close to the city centre of Manchester as Old Trafford and the Etihad

London's different.
Greater London is London. It's just one vast city.
Manchester is only a small part of Greater Manchester.Infact Greater Manchester is probably a poor name for the whole area.It used to be called SELNEC.

No, Barnet come from Barnet Hertfordshire which is outside the london postal region but within greater London. Of cause we now play in Edgware Mddx which also does not have a London postal address.

The point is, if you don;t come from that part of the world then you dont care enough to differentiate

Yes, well thankfully Manchester isn't like London.

Manchester isn't big enough in a sense to have it all classed as one, for instance bury and Wigan are part of greater Manchester, but are like half an hour away (well Wigan is)

Oh come on!

You converted three times in a crazy five minutes against some horrendous defending from us. Well done. But before and after that, particularly in the first half, we murdered you. Second half Allen used every time wasting, game slowing tactic in the book, and you got away with it due to a very weak ref.

That's football, and no complaints from us, but don't make out it was some sort of Martin Allen tactical masterclass, it wasn't. If we played you ten times you'd only win one of them, and that was it.

You did not murder us in the first half. Your defence was unable to cope with Muggletons throw that left your keeper flapping, Akindes strength and Clarkes pace which created the first and third goals. Your defence fell apart because it could not handle the tactics Allen used, you may not like to admit it but that doesn't change what happened, we had chances before and after we scored three, Dembele missed a header, your player handballed in the box and Yiadom was brought down for a stonewall pen. By the time we were 3-1 uo you only had the one shot on target to show for your efforts. After we had scored three Clarke had a one on one that he should've put away.

Second half was all your's. I agree the ref was weak, he failed to give us a stonewall pen or send off your player.

To be honest if we're nitpicking over whether Salford can be considered part of Manchester despite being administratively a seperate city then we have to wonder why Trafford's top football team decided to call themselves Manchester United. Perhaps we should also correct people who refer to a game at Old Trafford as being played 'in Manchester'.

I think you've got a bit carried away with yourself.

We gifted you three goals, and yes we murdered you in the period up to half time. The interval couldn't come quickly enough for you and at 2-3 half time there was only going to be one winner. As I said previously, then the time wasting, shall I shan't I substitutions, and gamesmanship came into it and you nullified the game.

Well done, but you're kidding yourself if you think it was any different.

They were called Manchester United before they left their city and moved out to Stretford.
They chose to retain their name, however.
