The worst atmosphere for any fan home or away is Gateshead, wherever you sit you're miles from the pitch and there's only two stands open usually. Was alright in the playoffs but that was when there were 8000 Newcastle fans there as well.

Nearly forgot Aldershot there...

From speaking to one of the stewards there that asked us in the bar pre-match how many we were bringing we were right on the borderline of segregation I believe, I think it was only decided last minute not to segregate us, although I could be wrong.

But I thought preseason was an accurate representation of the next season so having a lot of fans at friendlies mean you will have a good seeson1!!!!

You know you're tinpot if you don't get segregated at Altrincham (Braintree, Eastleigh, Welling, Woking, Kidderminster, Dover and Forest Green take a bow).

You may have problems with some of our unsavory followers

If you're lucky then you'll get a "big bus" full (49-52) via official Guiseley AFC Supporter's club - plus any independent travellers! But then we are so very, very tinpot - apparently. :bg:

Yes, I'm sure you are right. I think the stewards can make a judgement call on the numbers and vibe of the crowd, and will open the fence at half time.

Didn't mean it like that. I meant with a lot of rowdy fans in the stadium, it was actually quite good as opposed to less than 1000 fans in two stands. Nothing wrong with support from other clubs.

I was impressed with how many you brought here in the FA Cup last year, really noisy as well, good fans. :)

1656 was the final total as of close of business today.

Just hoping they get this train derailment at Scunny sorted out by the morning as I can do without a bloody bus replacement service to Donny!

Very doubtful Les took them over a week to remove the tankers and the sort the track after derailment near Lincoln at the beginning of July.
Talking of tickets having the derby ones gone on sale for you guys yet?

Not heard anything about derby tickets yet. Looks like I'll have to get up an hour earlier to make sure I make the connection at Donny then,

To be fair to Gateshead though they have Newcastle literally on their doorstep getting 50000 every week, so that would take quite a bit of support away from Gateshead.

Im sure they do. Look at Tranmere though, Everton and Liverpool on the doorstep and they still get decent crowds. Too many years in the Wilderness for Gateshead I guess.

All lower league teams have problems with people who support the big clubs and don't go to their local team but it's never just the case that it's inevitable. Joking apart I know Heed have tried a few initiatives lately to try and grow their brand. Good luck to them.

Decent noise from The Woking lot today, even though alot of it was aimed towards the referee.
