They share with Maidenhead now.

How have they not gone out of business with crowds of around 200 whilst ground sharing for the past 4-5 years? Surely the gate receipts don't even cover the rent.

The 'ground works' section of their website also hasn't been updated for about 2 years.

Quite amazing really. I think we had more fans in that snooker club than they had in the ground the last time we played them at Woking.

The poor old boy and his Mrs in there were run off their feet! :bg:

21 Woking fans at Gateshead. Fantastic support as usual.

While the time of year and the (wrong) grim forecast raising the spectre of a postponement may have been factors, this is a fairly disappointing turnout from the SWA, maybe reflecting disillusion with the current manager. Chester took more to The Shay for a Tuesday night game in August, a fixture with less novelty value than Rovers first trip to FC Halifax Town.

Around 80/90 Torquay at Chester yesterday and every credit to them. They never stopped singing despite being a goal down after 15 seconds.

121 Stockport at Boston, in a crowd of 1316. Decent effort considering on that showing they won't do anything this season and this weekend is normally bad for crowds

Do any Tranmere fans know how many tickets they have sold for the 26th?

No idea, but if previous Boxing Day fixtures against fairly localish teams are anything to go by it will be around the 1,000 ish mark.

We took 661 to Burton last Boxing Day. Macclesfield is nearer, but with current disillusion with the management, enthusiasm is minimal. My guess would be around 800, read that we haven't sold many tickets yet for an all-ticketer for away fans.

That must be one of the highest away support - home support ratios there has ever been, over 600 in a gate of 688, that is superb.

first away game of the season was Stourport swifts, the attendance was 1,321 and they average around 100 at home.

Good to see that despite your recent problems the fans are still sticking with you then.
How many leagues below Conf National did they put you?

After watching the highlights, doesn't even look as if they opened up the other rickety side for you? I thought they did when expecting a few.

I think they said 53 Dover fans at Grimsby on the radio.

Over 200, there was a lot more than most teams bring, and with a 500+ mile round trip, that is very impressive, lincoln won't even bring that many....

Well done Dover
