Even we wouldn't view Crewe as a big scalp. Our Football League record against them reads won 30, drawn 30, lost 32. If ever there there was a damnation to being bang average, then that is it.

Ours is W42 D30 L42. Bolstered by 4 Crewe wins out of the last 5 games.we've played (the shame)

Crowd numbers were always significantly higher at the Racecourse as well.

Shows you don't have to be non-league to be tinpot.

Nope. Maybe for some of the Mickey Mousers, like Macclesfield for example, but some of us remember you've been shitter than Big Shit MacShitter of Shitsville for most of your history. Never mind though you'll be a welcome addition to the Billy Big Bollocks Conferderation of Great and Historic Former Football League Clubs down here. Looking forward to meeting up again. :ds:

We were shit during the 70's and into the eighties but you lot were even worse and your 'crowds' were certainly worse-infact I recall a gate of about 985 for one of our visits to The Shay back in the late 70's.
Can't see us meeting up again for a very long time.

Don't Crewe hold the record for finishing bottom of the league and relying on their pals to re-elect them?

As measured by the Crewe Alexander yardstick, I declare the Mighty Shaymen the winners - W39 D29 L35. Get in. :woo:

Do either of you have any idea what you had at Welling roughly, just noticed it missing in my spreadsheet?

I was there, it was unsegregated but I'd guess at around 40 or so. Plus some flags.

Is this guy talking about the same Crewe who regularly used to bring less than 400 to an away game less an hours drive away? The club who has about 50% empty seats in a home end that hold less than 900?. Yeah right massive club them.

Radio Gloucestershire reckon a mighty fifteen Rovers up at Southport in the rain.
There were 10 on the mini-bus plus a crowd from Yorkshire plus a fan from Hampshire plus two or three cars of supporters plus at least three other Conference managers.
Very poor numbers I agree but expected during a working day when away supporters must leave before 3pm for a 7.45pm kick-off.

Definitely not knocking them. I was on an early shift so could have gone in theory but didn't like a big fat part-timer. Listening to Kurtis's super sub antics only rubbed it in.

Fair play to the 104 Bromley Geezers who, to a man, stayed to the end today despite getting a hammering. Made a decent noise as well.
