I'm sure they'll be dancing in the streets of Halifax (well those few that care the club exists will) at beating the mighty Nantwich Town in a competition that proper clubs don't bother with. Oh well, better get used to playing that type of team more regularly I suppose.

I'll think of you when we're playing in the League Cup next season. And laugh.

Nice try but North Ferriby excluded the previous 4 winners have been Cambridge, Wrexham, York and Darlington.

Maybe it's so they know how many pies and chips to buy. 10 minutes before half time last season they'd sold out of all hot food!
Had 8 left at HT yesterday apparently!

Went past a convoy of Salisbury coaches on our way to Cheltenham, was wondering who they were playing. Can they not offer you more than 680?

I don't think they brought that many to Barrow for the 2010 Trophy semi-final....

they have set the capacity for the ray mac at around 3450 I think under police advice regarding segregation,i believe we have half of the side with those bus stop type stands and part of the open terrace behind the goal, its possible we may get a few more tickets if they fail to sell out,but wont hold my breath on that one.

Yeah but without consulting a map, i would guess Salisbury to Hereford is a lot less travelling than Salisbury to Barrow!

Just a heads up for any Halifax fans planning to travel down to Dover on the 2nd April (yes it's ages away), there is to be far right/far left "rallies" in Dover town on that day. Last time this happened there was a lot of violence, destruction and disruption in the town centre and I ended up getting stuck behind a police line blocking access to the train station.

I'd advise any train goers to get the train straight from Dover Priory to Kearsney station rather than going through Dover town centre - there are still plenty of good watering holes, and it saves a walk from the town to the ground anyway. Also drivers should avoid the town centre as well, so if you are coming down the A20 I would advise you take the Alkham Valley route (sat nav will probably take that route if you put Crabble in) or use the A2 instead which avoids the town completely.

Not sure if the club are aware or have informed your club or not, but if any Halifax fans on here could either post this on your forum or spread the word, it'd be useful for you. Any questions, you can PM me or post on our forum

It's a shame this is not happening when you play Forest Green, as there is a certain fan of
theirs on here who loves a battle...... :box::box:

Guiseley FC may wish to send a thank you to this lady for earning them an extra £40 - £50 by doing this:

That'll be our biggest gate of the season for sure, terrific support for a Tuesday evening game.
Nearly twice as many as "spoilt" fans watching their "over-achieving" team at Guiseley as Forest had watching their under-achieving team at Dull...

Could be the second biggest following of the night - after Reading at Brighton perhaps.

Think this throws a spanner in the works for those on the train... any idea on when it will be cleared?
