Exiles or not, that's obscene.

That's probably 100 more than the average away attendance for this league... on a Tuesday.

Speaking to a couple of lads who went they reckon it was nearer 500. They and quite a lot of other Town fans went in the home end. Bromley had full segregation in place so that was the only way to get access to the club bar. It was 393 officially on the away terrace though.

Just to add to confusion with the 3's and 4's, our local rag is reporting 394 in a crowd of 1073, rather that 393 in a crowd of 1074 so I'll leave it up to you Cardsfan which figure you take. I'm sure that 1 will make all the difference to our average at the end of the season. :bg:

Only been given 1100 tickets for chester. Stupid really as it will only mean lots trying to go in the home end.

Not really, realistically that's the most we can give anyone since Vaughan turned the away end in to seating.

When you played Wrexham, they could have given you more, I'd have been more pissed off about that if I were you.

Its not, we've given plenty of teams 2000 since the seats have gone in. Shrewsbury, Stockport, Leeds, Wrexham all off the top of my head. Absolutely no reason we couldn't give them two full stands, we won't get anywhere near filling it and would boost the gate receipts. Silly decision and one I suspect is entirely down the police, soon as us or Wrexham give anyone 2k tickets the pressure will be on to return to full allocations for derby games.

157 Chester at Halifax in the trophy last night - more than I thought we would take after it being postponed after most had almost arrived on Saturday.

All Vaughan era, none since as there are more season ticket holders in there now. We're hardly likely to start with Tranmere. The club aren't going to put a limit on the number of Chester fans turning up to 3k, no matter how many are likely to. The ground isn't even at full capacity until the PA system is replaced.

Nothing Chester can do to stop Tranmere fans buying home end tickets, all CH postcodes anyway.

You will have a few in the home end, wouldn't be surprised if we're outnumbered! Saturday 3 o clock pay on the gate we would probably pull in more than we had for the Wrexham game, can't see many bothering with a Sunday lunch time kick off all ticket game with our currrent form.

It's a bit of a self defeating policy. It's supposed to be on the grounds of security, but would you rather give 2,000 away tickets and all-but exhaust demand thus mostly avoiding the problem of away fans in home sections... or limit official away allocation to well below expected demand, all-but ensuring the security headache that will follow? Crazy.

It doesn't make sense and I'm sure the club would rather avoid the possibility of away fans in home areas, but this will be a decision completely out of their hands.

298 Tranmere at Aldershot, poor with the run we've been on.
What happened to the other 400 that someone on here mentioned?
Was expecting at least 2200 today but I guess the weather put people off, however it was good that you were put in the East Bank, got a bit of atmosphere going.

A lot always over estimate how many go away, apparently according to Grimsby fans they're taking 2,000-2,500 to Halifax next week, watch 1,500 go instead.

Was umming and arring whether to go to Aldershot and in the end I couldn't be arsed.
298 is a few more than I was expecting and is possibly the most Tranmere have ever taken to the Rec for a league game. Last time I went was in the mid 80's when about 50 turned up!

181 fans were very loud but seemed very stunned as we went 3 up and then quietened a bit. But very a good number considering their form.

You may think the turnout was poor, but those that did turn out were a class act. The applause for Frank that you started when it was announced he supported the club for so long and carried on was very much appreciated by all at the Shots, and especially by his family. Thank You.

Grimsby's slide out of the title race will put plenty of... didn't get 4k today. Imagine it's about 1200-1500 there

Eight Stalybridge fans at Boston today.... only just more than the number of goals they scored
