Yep 182 when we average a lot less home fans than your rent a mob. We took 175 on a 600 round trip to Gateshead last week.

I said it earlier in the season your home crowds are made up and there was not 2,200 when we went to your place hence why you don't travel well. I expected 250 minimum today given your position and the distance. Like Eastleigh money teams proper support can be seen in away figures see Fleetwood and Crawley as further examples.

We took 144 to Gateshead, which is even further away from us.

And our position? A lot of us have already accepted it's playoffs again. We're below you remember.

And if we tinpottedly merged with a load of local clubs like you did we'd bring more.

John,
Calm down, you won game so be gracious.

I can confirm that the attendance numbers submitted by FGR are totally accurate. It is done electronically.

And that is a new one to throw at FGR - 'rent a mob'!
Oh dear, most of us away supporters are pensioners.

And FGR don't subsidise away travel so please don't use the term 'money team' on this thread.

Thank you John.

Your taking this the wrong way fella I expected more as you get decent enough home gates. But like all rent a mob clubs the home fans are too fickle to follow their club away.

You say FGR support was poor even though nearly identical to your own because FGR get more home support, but you then say FGR home support is made up and not that high so your point makes no sense at all.
And also 179 for FGR for a 300 mile round trip is very good for them.

He should have saved it for Tuesday night when we'll be lucky to crack 40 at Sutton, scene of our FA cup exit.

8942 Imps at the Emirates.....
Will they be at Boreham Wood? Better order more pies.
I would reckon on at least 1000 being there on the 21st.
We've sold 1600-1700 out of the 1900 we were given for the away at York on Tuesday.

Around eighty five Bluebirds turned up to watch our non show at Eastleigh.
If we knew our players weren't going to bother would of stayed at Winchester and enjoyed the sights and a few more beers.
Anyone making the journey try here for a stop off http://www.theblackboypub.com/ really enjoyed it!!

My point being if there home attendance stats are true then they should be taking more away. They average 500 more then us at home yet manage to take less away. Not really that difficult to understand that these rent a mob teams struggle with away support.

Yeah and my point being that in the same post you accuse them of lying about their home figures, making your argument pointless.
Plus as stated earlier 179 for FGR on a 300 mile round trip is very good for them anyway,

The whole thing about home attendances always gets chatted about. Clubs report tickets sold don't they? Not necessarily people through the gate. Thatludes season tickets that may not be being used. Eastleigh probably buy 500;tickets and throw them in the bin

John Still has a point that the FGR away support is poor. And has always been so.
The club and SC are well aware of this and are addressing away travel issues.
Hopefully next season there will be a gradual but significent increase.
FGR will never be able to match away figures of big city clubs but hopefully they will become the best of the rest.

Not sure about other clubs but our attendance is stated based on clicks through the turnstiles, so if season ticket holders or people with pre-paid tickets dont turn up they arent counted.

Personally thought it looked like 75-80 of us down there but it's a superb following for a midtable team on a 560 mile round trip.

Interesting. I thought it was a league ruling you counted prepaid tickets.

:fl::fl: :fl: You think it's a "travel" issue? Nothing to do with "big cities" or "travel" issues. Year after year the stats published on this very forum demonstrate there is clear blue water between away support for the REAL football clubs, and frauds like yours. See the pics a year or so ago of 3(!!!) Crawley fans at Port Vale for a League 1 fixture. For the REAL clubs, supporting their team isn't a hobby or a pastime, it's A WAY OF LIFE! As a mere Tin Potter, you cannot begin to imagine the extent to which we live and breathe our football clubs. All the money in the world will never make yours a REAL football club. :£:£:£:£

Fair play to your lot that travelled yesterday made a good noise.

Quite right.
That is why I go to all matches - home and away UNLIKE yourself, you TINPOTTER who chickened out of a visit to TNL last season.
All the Tin Pot clubs have at least one saddo who is there come ran or shine, but when it's just you, you're just a weirdo: even the mighty ChrisFGM doesn't do ALL the games. As for me, I was the knob telling you all "see you next season" as we left, you dick. :£:£:£

Whatever happens to FGR, they are assured that they will not have the displeasure of a visit to Halifax next season. Too many good teams down in NL(N) and your team ain't one of them.

And as usual you end up contradicting yourself by claiming REAL clubs have dedicated away supporters but then call a dedicated supporter of a village club a saddo!!!!!!!!!!
I agree that you are a knob but I am certainly no dick.
