There are a load going to Bath in a few weeks too. Some cheap rail offers have been snapped up and being relatively close for us mileage wise should be near 1000

466 Barrow at Fylde. Barely any home supporters, just loads of corporates and kids on freebies - says it all that when you arrive at the car park, the attendant asks "which company are you with?".

AFC Bus Stop will go pop as soon as Oyston gets purged from Blackpool.

AFC Bus Stop- not even original. I was using that for Fleetwood in 2011.
Even said the same about Oyston.

All these cash-rich-fan-poor Tin Potters have a weird "Stepford Wives" vibe about the place. A visit to Forest Green feels like you're in Jonestown...….. :£:£:£:£:£

469 Chesterfield. Though looked a few more tbh. Absolute shit tip as well. Never been anywhere like it, not even remotely charming in a non league kinda way

Unlike Halifax which has a weird horrific, shit hole end of the road feel to it.

Who would have thought that AFC Halifax 2008 have smaller gates than FC daddy&son of Harrogate.
Your true, die hards are being out done by a load of bandwagon wet wipers.
Most of whom may as well be at the cinema or the rugger.

You lost 1000 fans between Boxing Day and Saturday. Oops, how does that happen? Oh yeah, bandwaggoners only turn up when you're winning, a home truth you'll fully understand when Weaver's debit card max's out next season and you're going headlong back to where you belong. Our support is same whether we're in L1 or Unibond. As for shit holes, remind me which Yorkshire idyll is the setting for 2 TV series with a 3rd currently in production. Which town did a 20th century author choose to hide in because she knew nobody ever wanted to go there and which town was eulogised by England's premier 18th century literary icon...... Which town hosts the heritage site that attracted 2 million unique visitors last year.....Your time is over, nobody does tea shops and scones anymore, they want their picture taken where Derek Jacobi and Sarah Lancaster got their rocks off.:box:

We sold out our 1400 allocation and Salford let Wrexham fans with home end tickets into the away section, meaning they had to open a new section of around 200 to accommodate us all. With a good number of Wrexham fans paying on the gate in the Salford end, I'd estimate there was between 1800-2000 of us there.

Please don't count gritty dramas about cops and crime as capturing the idyll of anything other than a third rate, parochial version of your captial Huddersfield.
That said your pamphletting of Halifax and the Peace Hall is impressive. Harrogate I am sure has some merits, small town snobbery and bettys, and er that's about it but please let's keep this on topic and on crowds. Of which I would say Halifax must now be ready to move into being just a one stand club now. Rattling around in that terrace. So pointless.
Daddy's credit card will never run out as town are a jaunty tax wheez for his house building co, oh and keeps his done away from the money making end of the family business.

So you don't like gritty cop drama's or autumn years love sagas, you'll love our new incarnation as the backdrop for Britain's first openly lesbian industrialist and secret diarist. She's Halifax's very own Pepys, with tits on. What's not to like about that? If that doesn't get the crowds rolling in, nothing will.:ds:

149 Sutton at Bromley.

Nothing yet for H&W at Eastleigh.

I know 149 was the official number but a couple of us did headcount going over 200. Wouldn’t be the first time Bromley have given a suspiciously low number of Sutton fans

Either way it’s absoltely abysmal for a 10 mile journey... surely should be 500 at least?

It isn’t 10 miles btw. Our away support is poor compared to our home support, but then two thirds of our home support only started watching us 2 or 3 years ago, so there isn’t a culture of big away followings in this division. Gone are the days of 5-600 hundred to Carshalton or Kingstonian (essentially our entire home support at the time), league wise the 300 or so we took to Leyton Orient is our ceiling in terms of away numbers, the 300+ who went to Dublin was a freak. Not to mention that Bromley isn’t particularly great for away fans in terms of facilities and for Sutton fans in terms of aggression. Oh, and TV (but I managed to travel from South Wales by public transport for it).

It’s the same for Bromley too. A little over 200 at our place last week for a non-televised 3pm kickoff. On Tuesday the attendance was 1400+, in November 2014 I attended a Conference South fixture at Hayes Lane between the two sides that under 700 people in attendance.

If you're relying on public transport to get from Sutton to Bromley, it's a much longer journey than 10 miles!

You could've just wrote your initial 10 words out and left out all the excuses tbh.

Even by car 10 miles in London takes longer than it should
Having been to see us play at Bromley for a midweek evening league match earlier this season, it was pretty clear to me that driving into Bromley during rush hour time is not a wise decision!

Northerners will never understand to travel across London you’ll need 5 trains (if they’re running) and a stab proof vest. My journey to Orient New Year’s Day should take about 30 mins no trains meant an hour and half.

Don’t start on how long it takes to get to Barnet by train, two hours last time out with the trains running!

"Greater London" covers an area equivalent to West Yorkshire (also known as the greater Yorkshire).
