Darlington probably take more to other places than said teams take to theirs
It's easy for Stockport etc to take loads as they have almost every game within 2 hours and until recent weeks had never really travelled well to the far flung awayers like Boston, Blyth, spennymoor, darlington
Teams like us and Blyth are almost the opposite so don't take many sizeable supports but compared with chester, York, alty, chorley we probably take more to them than in reverse
Most of the so called ex FL fanbases have better exile networks too, so even long midweek trips still attract a sizeable number of fans living locally to such places

Almost as bad as when a team starts doing well and people on here cry that they’re only took x fans despite being in the playoffs. The same people who accuse Salford fans of only turning up when they’re doing well.

Why would clubs be expected to take triple figure away support? Just to satisfy some internet people? That’s a tinpot mentality. And I’m speaking as someone who regularly travels a 400 round trip for home games and travels all over the country (plus going to Ireland and Scotland this season) to watch my team. I’m even having to do an overnight stay on Saturday. We should be focusing on the positive that anyone would travel to watch non-league Football rather than having pathetic digs at what we consider small numbers (and we’re only having those digs because that team is outperforming our own)

I wouldn't take it too seriously it's all just a bit of fun in a lighthearted way and, off course they are out performing us but that's beside the point. I'm in the same mould as you as i travel to most away game's up and down the country. As i say in a good-natured way we always have a bit of banter with the pride of County Durham that's just the way it is in football.

Minimum 700 Fleet at Maidstone. Definitely more than the so called allocated away figure.

I was told about 750.
The bloke on the away turnstile stupidly let in more than we were meant to......it was a major fuck up. To be honest the game should of been all ticket for away fans.

Anyway pretty embarrassing from both set of fans with the bottle throwing and some who seemed more bothered with staring/mouthing off at each other than actually watching the game.

750-800 sounds about right.

Agreed. Was a fairly good atmosphere, but was ruined by idiots as you say, on both sides.

Our website states: "622 official but likely more"

750 is probably about right.

Sensible decision to let Ebbsfleet fans stand in the gangways. Stupid decision of our drummer to demand home fans be allowed to do the same and get himself banned. Horrible day when Maidstone United showed itself in a very bad light, at every level.

What a thing to get banned for!

I was a bit worried about getting in when queuing up, was seeing posts on Facebook that it was already full. Was some jobsworth steward asking me for ID before going in and threatening to not allow me in when I questioned it.

Good day overall mind. I'm sure you'll bounce back up under Still.

Thank God those long trips to Essex are over had a few lately. Concorde were very hospitable like everyone else but the ground wasnt good at all, not one bit of terrace. Caravans one side ships passing the other. The pitch wasnt great for playing on and not a good game to watch, however it's these wins which hopefully get us back up

Strong effort from the Brotherhood, there. Assume that Brothers Torquay, Stockport and York would complete a non-league top 7?

Orient should end up with an average of over 800, as all four of our remaining away games will see followings of 1,000+. I know we’re having an excellent season, but that’d be pretty outstanding, all things considered.

I would like to think so come the end of the season. We had 1,450 at Bath. We've sold out Woking (1,400), on the way to selling out Chippenham (1,100) and for our final game of the season at Stale Buns we have been allocated 1,000 which, fingers crossed, should see us celebrating getting back up to to the NL... sadly*, passing Maidstone on the way back down

*yeah, right!

Considering the season we are having, I would say our away support is impressive. Barnet suprises me a bit but that could be due to the southern bias
