The crowd at Sutton always looks smaller than the reported attendance. I think it’s because the perimeter fence for the home terraces is much longer than normal as it’s set so far back from the pitch and thus the home crowd is spread out and dispersed.

Last time we played them they claimed there was over 2,000 there when there was barely 1,000. I assume they just count season ticket holder who don’t attend including 500 members of the youth teams.

Did look small. I'd say around 1000.

As for us that's the lowest following I've ever been in. I know quite a few regulars that didn't want to go after our club cancelling the original game at 7 days notice due to two youngsters getting call ups. The fact there wasn't even an apology spoke volumes. Personally we lost £120 of train tickets
