What surprised me yesterday was that a group of stone Island clad chavs came right to our barrier and were hurling abuse for a good ten minutes at your manager. 2 or 3 times they did this. I get the frustration with the result but at the end of the day you’re top of the league. Really ripping into him.

Next thing I turn around to see if they were still there and one of them was fighting with a sterward. Must of had a bloody good time in Blackpool
Unfortunately I think this is quite a common occurrence.

I gather they got chucked out of the terraced end and threatened the stewards into letting them back into the ground, but this time the seated bit. Don't need 'fans' like that. Not the first time they've turned up at games and caused trouble either.

Someone on our board reckons we've already sold 900 for Orient next week.

That will worry some who were planning just to turn up on the day and get theirs. From what I understand there were long queues outside the ticket office before kickoff yesterday (although some of that would have been families sorting the free U11 tickets)

Turns out we've actually only sold 523, not 900. Still a good effort with a week to go and with people paying on the gate wouldn't be surprised if we take over 1000.

Wrexham fans, what are the chances of you giving us more than 1800 tickets? We’ve sold 1650 and I’m worried I’m not going to get one.

No chance.

The safety certificate won’t allow more as 1/3 of their stadium has to be shut due to it falling apart.

I'm not sure why we are not able to open the lower tier in the stand Tranmere will be in. It's a real shame. We spent quite a bit of money on it in the last two years to allow it to be used again (it had been out of use for a number of years with no safety certificate from when we played Millwall in the early 2000s, in a game which sealed their promotion to the championship, and their fans subsequently caused a large amount of "bovver".)

Me too! Got one last night on a whim, I wasn't expecting it to sell out so I nearly left it longer.
Excellent support from your lot. I just wish our SAG had their heads screwed on to allow you to bring more. The stand holds 2800.

What is your actual capacity? About 8k with the safety certificate but 15k if it was all safe?
I counted 15.5k or so including the Kop. Officially the current capacity is 10.5k, but it's unreserved seating and half the stands are full of 'safety' netting... so around 8k is right I think.

Seems a bit much counting every seat
Hoping our safety advisory group see sense if we sell all our tickets and allow us to sell more tickets in place of green netting. Baffled at the need for so much in a ground where the stands aren't connected.

It's not ideal giving your lot the tech end, but we should have at least looked to improve your capacity too once you'd sold out. Our SAG are arseholes though.

Maidenhead v Halifax ??

18.

Down from 57, for the league game in September, largely due to the fact that we didn’t find out we were playing them until the preceding Tuesday; train tickets were £90 each vs £46 in September.

Slightly strange how many we are taking in honesty. We only took 1600 when we were battling Luton at the top of League One and we had double the home gates back then.

I expect the attendance to be arpund the 8k Mark, which is the same as our 150th anniversary match against Grimsby a few seasons back. The only game I remember recently with a bigger gate was our play off semi v Luton when there was a touch over 9k at the ground. Probably our maximum with all the netting and segregation between us and you, which I expect to be over the top.
