Wasn't you singing on your own at one stage was it Josh in the first half :bg: Yeah I was gonna post 50/70 or so but you beat me to it. Decent following that considering nobody comes to Darlo.
Lovely away end in it, the weather gods weren't looking good an hour before kick-off.
I end up singing on my own most weeks
Probably annoy every bugger unfortunate enough to be stood near me. Away end was what I feared. Tried the home end before the game and at the 2nd half but couldn't keep myself undercover so they kindly told me to move or be moved! At least the rain stopped as at 2.30 I feared an abandoned game which would have been typical given how well we played! It's a pity the stewarding was draconian for a small amount of away fans, either they segregate it properly or not at all, we had home fans on the open end first half!

There's usually a Saturday hardcore of 40 or 50 that'll go everywhere. About the turnout I expected especially given a bad forecast, suppose similar to the 150 of yours who visited us this year

That's correct. For the game at there spot there was 2,000 York fans. The only spot there was any Harrogate fans was at the Hospital end behind the goal.
I remember 515 being a massive home gate for Harrogate. Be interesting to see how they fare when they start losing in the conference or mess up and stay down here. See if these extra supporters stay with them. It's a big enough town to support a higher level club if it got there....

Nice one somebody has to lead the way, we usually sing in the tin shed but couldn't be arsed on Saturday so went down the open end, had a bit of banter with one or two of your fans. I was looking at one of your fans trying to put his flag up in the new seated stand, I don't think he had much luck.
Yep the away end is not great when it starts pissing it down, unfortunately away fans aren't allowed in the home end due to altercations, hand bags at dawn stuff. Yeah i thought the game was definitely gunna get called off around 2-ish! I know a couple of the stewards and they are generally decent guys, so a bit puzzled on that one mate, it's not at all they don't segregate at the moment, only 3 games which were Spennymoor Town, South Shields and York City. All other matches they didn't bother this season. I know one of them was me, soz about that!

That's fair enough good on them loyal supporters! Yeah it was a good turn out with the shit weather on Saturday. Our turnout wasn't all that great i was amongst the 150 (as well as the year before when i think we took 234), this season we'd been going through a sticky patch at the time.

No, only tinpot clubs with weak barriers do that sort of thing....

175 Maidenhead at the Rec today, making it the second poor away following at our place this week.

Must admit I thought it was hilarious when their fans called our support s**t, given we took 4 times as many to their place as they brought today!

You had a drum. Ergo your support is sh!t.

That’s absolute bollocks! I’d say there were nearer double that.
Someone get counting..... I'd agree it's probably more like 100

There were about 30 in the seated bit as well. I reckoned 130 after the game and my dad thought 150. Definitely more than 83 anyway. :dis:

There were never 600 people in the ground either! They didn't have many more fans than us.

If our games against them are anything to go by, Boring Wood and Maidenhead both enjoy a bit of ‘creative division’ of the crowd splits.

479 apparently at Harrogate for Spennymoor v Boston tonight. Looked nearer 250.
Probably 50 of us, 150 Spennymoor and a few locals

I'd say about 150 Maidstone at Solihull.

Fair play, that's fantastic given your position. Solihull on a Tuesday night was one of our three away crowds below 100. 99.

I imagine Barrow on Saturday will be our fourth. There is a coach going, but can't see many more than 70/80.
