Even if we lose tomorrow, we will still have a chance last day, albeit a very slim one.

Expecting a respectable turnout down there. Already two coaches full up, plus a third one taking bookings and plenty driving down for the weekend.

You not taking a boat there?

According to our Media Officer, there were about 250 of us at Dover on Tuesday night.

OK maybe so , but only 156 paid to get in , so if you would like to forward a check for about £1600 we would be grateful , if not donate it to the walker who walked down here before Easter

Expect a few extra Shaymen at Maidstone on Saturday, someone has "worked out" that Mr FC Halifax Town, aka Scott McManus, may be playing his last game for us on Saturday. His career at The Shay has been a parable. A few hours after he signed for us from FC United, 8 seasons ago, it was revealed he was due in court after a domestic incident. Some fans wanted his contract ripping up on the grounds "we don't need a bad apple in the dressing room". Scott acknowleged his error in court and resolved to atone for his behaviour. Things got worse though, when a disastrous performance at centre half in an early game resulted in his substitution after 20 minutes and when he stormed past Aspin straight down the tunnel, many thought it was the last we'd see of him. Aspin knew he'd signed a "player" though and shuffled him to left back. He was voted Player of the Season by the fans that year, and the rest is history. He's been a credit to the club over 8 seasons, and more importantly, a credit to himself. When we got relegated in 2016, Scott went to the pub where he knew the fans gathered after the game, to apologise in person for our collective humiliation. When we went to Wembley a few weeks later for the FA Trophy Final, it was written in the stars that Scott would be the one to win it for us with a first time hit with his right foot, a foot NO ONE had ever seen him use before, into the top corner. Some players are just a perfect fit at certain clubs and Scott's place in the Shay pantheon is secure. :cool1:

Nah, we will just offset it against the travel costs for the first game.

He quoted what seemed an official figure. I was just relaying the information.

Sounds like there are quite a few of our supporters planning to go in the Sutton end on Saturday.

Just put us down for an est. 1500 now if you want ;)

I'm sure it was announced as 20 Guiseley at Plainmoor. Hats off to every single one of you for making that long trek on a Tuesday night for a very meaningless match (unless, of course, you all happen to live in or around the 'Bay!). The other 987 who attended that game coudl'nt have looked at the table before setting out for the game.

It'll be funny watching them being turned away as the game is all-ticket.....

I know it is, but I assume there is nothing stopping our fans calling up to order home tickets, pick them up on the day not wearing club colours and then go in the home end that way?

I'll personally be in the away end as my ticket was safely secured a couple of weeks ago.

1,007 at Torquay with 20 Guiseley is sad to see. Torquay a likeable club who seem to have been down on their luck on and off the field for the last 5 years or so.

Dodgy owners and a shite team, not much to shout about at the moment, I sympathise as Bury are in a similar position.

Judging by the number of Aldershot fans crying about trying to buy tickets from Sutton and not being able to on Twitter some are trying and failing to do so. Will there be Aldershot fans in the Sutton end? Probably. Anywhere close to 500? No chance.

Why was that played at Alfreton? Same reason Spennymoor are playing at Harrogate?

Nope, Spennymoor's was a poor pitch where as Nuneaton had power issues at their ground on Tuesday. This being the last midweek of the season meant they had to play elsewhere last night.

Did their issue with the Rugby club get resolved? I remember there was an incident last season when the rugby club blocked access to the turnstiles.

Don't know honestly. Haven't heard much more about it since it's initial report.

Afternoon all,
Usual last week of season hopeful request for help in filling in any gaps PLEASE. I've probably missed some out which I'll spot next week hopefully, but as far as I can see these are the games that I don't have any figure for. There are loads where I only have estimates for, which I'll not bothering posting, unless anyone has a programme that gives figures (Halifax/Hartlepool/Torquay?).

FYLDE AT B'ham Wd, Bromley, Guiseley, Maidenhead, Solihull
BARROW AT Bromley
BOREHAM WOOD AT Bromley, Eastleigh, Guiseley, Maidenhead, Solihull, Sutton, Woking.
BROMLEY AT B'ham Wd, Ebbsfleet, Guiseley, Solihull,
CHESTER AT Guiseley
DOVER AT Maidstone, Solihull, Sutton
EASTLEIGH AT Fylde, Guiseley, Maidenhead
EBBSFLEET AT Fylde
GUISELEY AT Fylde, Bromley, Chester, Eastleigh, Ebbsfleet, Maidenhead, Solihull
HALIFAX AT Bromley, Ebbsfleet, Sutton, Woking
HARTLEPOOL AT Fylde, Chester
MAIDENHEAD AT B'ham Wd, Bromley, Ebbsfleet, Guiseley, Solihull, Woking
MAIDSTONE AT B'ham Wd, Guiseley,
SOLIHULL AT Fylde, Bromley, Ebbsfleet, Maidenhead
SUTTON AT B'ham Wd, Dover, Guiseley
TORQUAY AT Fylde, Chester, Sutton
WOKING AT B'ham Wd, Ebbsfleet, Guiseley, Maidenhead, Solihull

Cheers in advance.

Fully expect a good 600/700 to turn up at at Stockport County this weekend for a meaningless game for us.

Piss-up in Manchester beforehand.

Estimate 60 Woking at Guiseley

Woking at Maidenhead - maybe 150. (Was segregated)

I was at Ebbsfleet but can’t really remember how many we had - it was segregated though. As was bwood.

What I don't get is that they hardy flew out of the door when they went on sale. I think they were on general sale for a week before it sold out. My son bought his last Friday.
As you say, there maybe the odd one or two, but no more.
Would be different if it was the play offs, but to be honest I am surprised they even sold out.
