Apparently there were 175 Bees at Moss Lane. Taken from Alty's Twitter feed.

Ah cheers, they don't normally segregate so I didn't think there would be an official figure.

Impressive turnout by Bristol Rovers today, of the teams who've had to travel a fair distance to us I can only remember Luton bringing a comparable following. Shame they spoilt it by robbing the three points though.

Did sound like you lot were the better side today! Mind you, you lot were good in large spells in the reverse fixture, so I'm not surprised.

I counted 22 in the away end today. Just going back to our game against Telford on Tuesday when a few different figures were mentioned. We now print away attendances in our programme and for Tuesday it said 9.

Just seen this on the Rovers official site.......
http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/following-the-gas-on-the-road-2307721.aspx?

Not sure how those numbers have been figured at all. We have 400 seats allocated for away fans, with a further 1,500 on the terrace behind the goal. Should there be more required we can give another 400 terracing places down the side. How on earth 524 tickets split between seats and terrace has been derived I don't know!!

Yeah I think we would be given more, although whether we'll need it given the KO time remains to be seen.

I don't understand why they just don't go, 'we have 1900, sell what you can. If you need more, we can give another 400'

Waste of money. Don't we have to pay a certain amount for the number of tickets we don't sell?

I dont see why we cant just give you the tickets, then you give us the money for whatever sells. Its not hard to keep a record of number of tickets sold, at what price and how many need sending back. Sales revenue can sit in a separate account until time comes to weigh us in.

I think Altrincham segregate depending on who they are playing and how many. When we played them they didnt as they were only expecting 100-150

I can only assume they will say its the printing costs.. But at the same time, for an all ticket game, I dont see why Rovers dont print the tickets themselves (like we did for Dartford and 99.9% of other all ticket matches) and keep 10% of the sales for admin and printing fees?

10% for a bit of flimsy card board and paperwork?! Robbing gits!

Don't be too proud to go to Aldi, their chocolate is as good as anywhere.
:fl:

In seriousness though, apparently it's an unwritten rule that that's what happens. Someone's got to pay the staff :dk:
