197 Eastleigh at Blundell Park I think was announced.
Is it just me or is that very poor for a playoff semi final on a Sunday afternoon despite the long distance and it being on TV?

Wow.
Figures seem to have took a tumble at the top since we was in the league, although I suppose Mansfield, Luton, Newport, Cambridge etc would of been top end. Cannot believe third is only 327!
I'd probably guess its because some of the ex-league sides have had pretty horrible seasons (Wrexham, Lincoln and ourselves) which would surely have affected followings.

That said I had a look at ours this season compared to our last 2 seasons in the league, and we only averaged 281 in 11/12 and 260 in 12/13, so our away followings have actually held up well despite a horrible season.

Yeah, I was surprised at the low following from Eastleigh, especially as the club had laid on free coach travel for them.

However the ones that were there were a credit to their club and never shut up all game, even when 3-0 down and stayed after the game until their players came out.

There was talk on Eastleigh's forum before the first game of the possibility of requesting more tickets if they sold out their allocation so it seems the interest was there, but I presume the first leg result would have put a lot of them off coming to be fair.
And it looked like a lot more than 197 from where I was sitting. :dk:

Special day for us yesterday. Yeah we got beat by a very good Grimsby. Thought both sets of fans were great. Your fan's applauding us at the end was a nice touch. Summed up why i love football.

Why would you be surprised, there not even a real club? This is what you get when you allow shit like this to mix it with real football clubs. 197 to a play off match with Wembley and a place in the Football League up for grabs. The FA and Conference should be ashamed.

I agree, the highest percentage of fans who travel away, despite having the 4th most distance to travel. This coupled with big attendances such as 1000 at Barnet, 2500 at Alfreton (could have been a lot more).

We announce attendance figures for 14/15 with comparison to 13/14 and a couple of interesting stats.

Imagine the Football League or Premier League releasing a document like this whilst also written on the 'Notes' app. I also believe that Colin Peake wrote this and then quoted himself in the piece? At least the Conference board maintains the Tinpottery of non-league football.

Someone did say to me last year that they had heard that Vanarama were the new sponsors of the Vauxhall Conference. Whatever Vauxhall paid, it must go down as one of best sponsorship deals of all time.

Sounded like they had the better of the first half but we got better as it went on, struggling to score a bit...

Cheers. This season it could have been called the 'Dave and Sue's Roller Disco (in association with pop tarts) National league' and it would still be better than Skrill.

I still call th GM Vaxuall Confrence, skrill was is that fish tinning company???
