Can't see many more then 350 going grimsby Saturday. Most fans in this league will say that's shit because they expect us to take 1,000s everywhere but for a 460 mile round trip its not to bad. The first of some very long away days in the next couple of months. Grimsby. Gateshead. Halifax and Dover. Will be surprised if our average stays around 800
Trust me mate, we will be delighted to see 350 in the Osmond after it is usually empty with no atmosphere!!
350 will not be shit at all, far from it. :)

Amazing how fans turn out for the cup. 300 or so of us at North Ferriby yesterday, but we will take less than 200 to Bishop's Stortford this coming Saturday; a journey that's about 2h45 closer!

Know what you mean. We took 2500 to Portsmouth and for our away game at Kidderminster 3 days later had 100. Think the following Saturday in the league we only had about 1600, so 900 more went away than came to a home game!!

Did you go to Alty mate? Had a few different estimates for away fans just wanted to see what you thought

If you bring 200 to us on Easter Monday that will be the highest away following I'd have ever seen at Grosvenor Vale for a league game. Maidstone, Dulwich and Hemel have all brought 150 or so with them.

Doubt you'll get many down here saying that mate, 350 be very good numbers. Was impressed with your following here but the atmosphere was pretty disappointing.

Yeah, it's ridiculous. I welcome new fans and it's good to see us more fans away than we used to, but I'd like to see them all go a bit more regular.

I'd like to hope we can bring 200+ to you, but it depends on how we are playing. If we are back in the play offs or have a chance to reach them then there's no reason why we can't bring over 200. If not then we will have between 100 and 150. We had about 150 or so down at Gosport last week.

Yeah I did. I think I estimated 120-150 above somewhere (might be previous post) as most of our regulars and northern exiles were there.

Not sure how they counted, but there was more than 80 Shots there, we were directed in through all the turnstiles. I would have said 120-150 about right.
The numbers you had were great for a couple of days notice, but there was no more than 80 odd, we've just won 4 games on the trot, if you had 150, we've lost over 300 of our core support for a saturday home game, that wasn't the case

I travel on the coach with a lot of people who sit, and they said there was around 40 of our fans sat in the main stand. Add that to the 66 and thats 106 before you add the few that were standing and went through one of the home turnstiles as it was unsegregated. I dont think 120 is that bad of an estimate and we have not taken under 100 to any game this season, especially not a Saturday game!

The game was segregated, we drop the segregation on occasion when there's not many away supporters and they're deemed low risk, all games start segregated.

Quite a few of us had player comps and we had to enter via the home turnstile then walk around. There was also a fair few other Shots who came in through the home turnstiles and walked round the ground.

Well that wasn't the case on Saturday when I was queued up at the away end food area and there was an Altrincham fan stood behind me.

I'd say we had around 100 there. Not bad for a game organised at 72 hours notice - It's a shame really as there was quite a lot of interest in the original fixture.

238 from Alty, embarrassing.

Edit - 338, still wank.

Hi Chester Fans!
As you guys can get in for a pound Saturday, how many do you think you'll be bringing?
Not a clue how many tickets we've sold btw.

I don't think the reduction will make much of a difference for us, awkward trip anyway. About 200 hopefully, haven't played for a fortnight so looking forward to it.
