I don't even want to think about this game yet, but I thought it was about time to make a thread. I know people will say that form doesn't matter in a derby, but Norwich's is extremely strong at the moment and that must count for something. We are good enough to beat them on our day, but I'd definitely take a draw and I'm expecting a defeat.

Predict Norwich to sign Jamie Cureton for this game, for him to dye his hair green and score a last min winner for Norwich, prompting Mick McCarthy and TC to run onto the pitch and take him out to the enjoyment of millions watching on TV

That would be a sight ...

Really not sure about this. You'd think winning five in a row would make me confident but it really doesn't. Think I'd be more confident had we lost at Watford or Blackburn. Whenever on a decent run, I just can't stop myself from thinking it has to end at some point. Plus, you lot are well overdue a win against us. Not looking forward to it at all.

I'm going to be there and I'm more nervous about this than excited. God knows how I'd be if this was a play off game. I would take a point all day long here.

I thought I'd be nervous, but I'm not. I'm excited and confident. I can see another Lambert-era type mauling.

Can't wait.

I'd be really surprised if we get hammered, when it comes to losing we're masters of the 1-0. Six out nine defeats this season have been 1-0.

Yeah, I think it'll be close. For us, seven out of eight defeats have been by one goal.

On another note, just seen this quote from Mick, "If we were both mid-table there might be a half full stadium". Hopefully he knows as little about our team as he does Carrow Road...

I can't believe McCarthy has said that if that's true :D

Maybe if the match was at Portman Road...

I can't believe he said that either, I hope it's because he's more focused on the opposition team than their fans.

The winner tomorrow goes into 3rd place. What an incentive.

Just so you boys know this game has attracted my intention and thus I will be watching.

I might even give some feedback on the teams if I feel up to it.

For previous what? They're not them annoying c*** that try and get charity money off you when you're walking through town are they?

The same lot that chucked bins around the away end and then posted videos claiming they had 'trashed' Carrow Road?

Not sure to be honest. 30 on the early train were sent back so can't imagine how many will on the fast train

Last time I went to a derby game Lee Croft and Matty Pattison scored.

Mick had a great derby record for us, his last game for us was a 1-5 home defeat to WBA...

Team:
Bart
Chambers, Smith, Berra, Mings
Chaplow, Bru, Skuse, Tabb
Sears, Murphy

Pretty much what I expected, disappointed that Parr isn't included somewhere. Big debut for Chaplow!

A boring 0-0 draw keeping us in 3rd will be much appreciated.

Ipswich look strong in every position except for midfield, it looks very average. I think Murphy and McGoldrick upfront is better than Sears maybe too.

Norwich will win the league. So they should looking at that squad, but they are in devastating form at bang on the right time.

I can't believe the form Norwich are in. After I seen them at Preston in the Cup they were awful. Really pleased for Alex Niel. Only had him for 1 season here but he was a great pro and rightly won our Player of the season award!

Disappointing to lose that, don't think there was much in it but Norwich were much more clinical.

Never in doubt  We weren't brilliant but we didn't need to be. Fuck knows how Ipswich are so high in the table. One of this seasons great mysteries.

Bradley Johnson - just take all the season awards now. All of them. Fans Player. Players Player. Goal of the Season. Just take the fucking lot.

Lovely tactical booking for Tettey as well! Will miss Wigan during the week now, but wouldn't have played anyway with his dodgy knees.
