Or the fact we are bringing 4500+.

I know 4 city fans who have tickets in the Kop.

Well my advice is they better behave, Kop wasn’t really the best option...

Even with 4500 from the lowest placed big club in England that’s a great effort from Nottinghams 2nd club. How many clubs in this division can even house that many 4? 5 max!

Hope they're going to wear their free black and white t-shirts with pride! :D

Kop is risky as fuck, to be honest, unless you can absolutely trust yourself to basically act like a home fan. Particularly as there's no way of telling who you're going to end up next to.

I did laugh at the Cov fan who posted a picture of their ticket in the home end, seat number and all, on Twitter.

Will probably be a bigger attendance at Meadow Lane, I think it shows it was a poor effort by your lot actually!
Yep, was a bit dissspointed by. However...if you think the crowd was accurately reported as just over half the capacity, your on crack. The EASt stand alone holds 15k take off a couple of thou for front 3 rows and it leaves about 4K spread around the ground...including the puss out attempt at an Away following!! Do the math

Clearly some mature conversation going on here

Last time the kop had away fans in they were booted out by the fans and then the police. It's not a good idea.

Can't wait for this. I'll be nervous as hell before kick off tho. No work getting done Friday

They are sensible guys to be fair. Not heard about many others buying in the home ends other than a guy who purchased a box and was selling a few spares.

They aren't the type of guys to make a peep. Not sure if others are buying in the home ends.

Didn't your end only sell out earlier today? Would've thought that anyone who was that desperate to go would've been able to get one, not sure what your priority system is like mind.

Are Nottingham folk likely to invade the pitch if they win?

They were still only on sale to fans who are season ticket holders or had bought a match package. Many were still unable to buy tickets despite 250 being available.

Pitch invasion is highly likely if we win. Doubt it if we lose

If you lose we'll be on!

All seriously though, with how close it is to the pitch, I can see some trouble if either side invade.

There is literally no need for trouble. If a side wins and gets to Wembley the year are allowed to celebrate on the pitch IMO.

Love it when fans think a stand is actually full n sold out Cos it looks full from a distance

Smiley how many do you think were there? If not the reported 17404. Not that it really matters anyway lol

I personally think it was close to 20k in all honesty, Morecambe only bought about 700. We wasn’t full on side or corner, and corporate. But with you lot and 2 blocks behind the goal no way was it only 2k more. Not like our illustrious owners to fiddle numbers!!!

It’s been said that those “clever” enough to show their tickets as a Coventry fan in the home sections will be refused entry by the barcode.
Even so, if they do get in (unlikely now) just sit on your hands unless Notts score and you’ll be fine:whistle:

Notts County lot are a very tame and well behaved set of fans to be fair to them.

We are in general, especially for a big city club, but it’s a play-off second leg on a Friday night ain’t it.

Conks is right , in general we have a great reputation on that front, and proud of it.

Costa, although they might be in the Derek Pavis, it’s sedate at best, the Kop is a very different place. Not just an inferior view but plenty of Knobs in there , so much so that after a few too many beers Notts fans will happily fight amongst themselves or fight forest teenager pitch’s invaders during a friendly.

We aren’t Mansfailed level of scum or even close but naturally have enough idiots , just not the place to risk it especially if you want to enjoy the game

Nottingham Forest are the big city club mate, even though neither are actually in a big city mind.

Nottingham is an average sized city IMO, but above all its a big sports city. Two proper footy teams, a fanstastic test cricket stadium and successful side, and the UKs best supported ice hockey club. All within a 20 min walk of one another and none built on or adjacent to a big retail park. Impressive.

Oh so you don’t watch Stags games in the flesh! That explains a lot

Keep the faith#handbrake
It would be a tad expensive to watch in the flesh ,but you cant beat the view from i follows cameras just hook it up to my telly ,perfect ,probably a better view than some actually at the game

Out of interest where in Spain are you, I have yet to see my Notts whilst on holiday but have obviously watched other matches.

There is nothing better (apart from being able to attend in person) than sitting at an outdoor pool bar with ya feet in the pool watching a big screen with the footy on and a beer in hand.

Sounds lovely tbf, beer , sun, and a great view of the action. But does the Field Mill roar from the 4000 faithful come across on ifollow? Nothing beats being there live in the West Stand surely?

Would be nice to break this season’s best attendance against Crewe (£2 game) for tomorrow night’s game

This is true.

Coventry is a bigger city than Nottingham but in terms of sport, the latter is a far bigger sporting city.

I say that on the day Coventry gets granted 'European city of sport'.

Torrevieja just south of alicante, and yes sat with a nice cold beer watching it pissing it down at field mill and stags playing is a very enjoyable way to spend a saturday afternoon
