so it didn't hit the target? meaning you had no shots on target... seems accurate to me

On my Skysports app,l it has total shots. This is then divided down to on target, off target and blocked

Because it hasn't hit the target???? You could shoot from anywhere and it could be going on target, but unless it actually makes it then its off.

A shot that is tipped round the corner would presumably count as a shot on target? Surely? Where would it go if the goalie didn't save it? Australia?

Exactly. So how is a blocked shot any different? Still on target, just happens to be diverted off target in an earlier stage of its trajectory.

Yeah proper blocked shots are different, but this was deflected from in the six yard box. Does a shot cleared off the line even count as on target!?!
